History

Background[]

Angstrom Levy of the main universe was born with the ability to open traversable portals between his own reality and others, making him unique amongst all of his alternate selves across the multiverse. For possibly months or years, he discovered there were different universes in which he existed, he would travel and bring those different versions of him to his universe, and also discovered many realities where Invincible joined forces with his father and took over Earth.

Man of Many Talents[]

Angstrom and the Mauler Twins.

He eventually tracked down the Mauler Twins and freed them from prison to aid him in transferring the unique knowledge his alternate selves possessed about each of their home dimensions in order to pool medical, technological, and philosophical knowledge for the benefit of all, as the Mauler Twins had knowledge of cloning which far exceeded any of Angstrom's alternate selves. In his time with the twins he considered himself an ethical person, as well as a pacifist, and blessed them with the knowledge of different realities, as well as their own designs of powerful devices from these different realities to complete his goal. The Mauler Twins were convinced to help Levy with a guarantee he would bring them to a new reality of their choosing.

Angstrom's refuses to let Invincible die.

By night, the machine was done, but when they started the process of memory pooling, Invincible (not knowing Angstrom's goals) tried to stop him. Angstrom did try to reason with Mark, however his pleas fell on deaf ears, and he was forced to summon more Mauler twins from other universes to help, much to the main universe Mauler Twins' irritation. Upon getting the upper hand, they attempted to bludgeon Invincible to death against Angstrom's wishes. Upon seeing this, Angstrom removed the helmet linking him to the memory transfer device and his alternate selves, stating he "will not build his utopia in blood". This action inadvertently caused the machine to explode spectacularly, killing all of the alternate universe Maulers and Angstroms.

Paradise Lost[]

Angs3

The birth of a monster.

Unfortunately, main universe Angstrom Levy survived. According to the Mauler Twins, if the helmet was removed before the connection was finished, severe brain damage would be Angstrom's least worrying problem. This proves to be the case, as physically, Angstrom was left disfigured with a grotesquely enlarged cranium (presumably due to holding so many memories), and mentally, he was now unable to distinguish his own memories from those of his alternate selves and had forgotten both his decision to disconnect from the machine and his grand plan to save all of reality. Enraged and irrational, Angstrom swore vengeance against Invincible for the deaths of his alternate selves, as well as any his alternate selves' loved ones who had been murdered by variants of Invincible and Omni-Man.

Multiversal Journeys[]

Some time later, Angstrom traveled to various dimensions where doctors repaired his physical state with his a device implanted on his back to support his spinal area, which made him physically stronger and capable of combating certain super powered figures. Despite this, the damage to his brain and mind was the one part that could not be cured, forcing him to use a cloak to hide his disfigurement.

Angstrom and the GDA

"Make him pay for what he did to your world."

Following this, he decided to travel to another reality and met another Invincible to ask him questions about his defeat and capture at the hands of Cecil and the GDA, promising his freedom in return. He told Angstrom of his imprisonment and that his father was killed by quantum bombs, but as different versions of Cecil and Donald arrived, Angstrom left to parts unknown, leaving the Evil Mark Grayson in the hands of the GDA.

Much later, Angstrom was seen in a universe being fitted with a three-piece suit by a four-armed tailor. The tailor asked Angstrom what occasion would call for such a fine suit to which he replied that he's "visiting an old friend". Angstrom then crossed through multiple dimensions before reaching his own and proclaimed how good it was to be home.

Angstrom then found the Grayson Family House, taking his mother and brother as hostages to draw him in.

The Grand Plan[]

InvinciblevsAngstrom

Angstrom summons a portal.

After his call, Invincible rushed home to see Angstrom, his mother, and brother in the living room. Angstrom held Invincible's mother's neck in his hands, ready to kill her while goading Invincible on. Mark, not wanting to provoke Angstrom, relaxed and was hit with a signal jammer by Angstrom, preventing any outside interference from the GDA. Angstrom then began monologuing, informing him that in half of the realities Invincible exists, his superhero identity is public. Invincible, not recognizing Angstrom, began to warn him with a generic hero speech, only to be cut off by a shocked and offended Angstrom that his visage was not as deformed in their previous encounter. Realizing who he was, Mark then referred to Angstrom as "that guy", seemingly still not remembering his name. This caused Angstrom to only become more furious as he loudly declared his name and blamed Invincible for turning him into a monster, of which Mark denies and blames his machine that blew up. Angstrom cried out in anger, blaming Invincible once again before throwing Debbie and Oliver to the hardwood floor, causing Oliver to cry.

Mark, still wanting to resolve the situation as peacefully as possible, offered Angstrom help to which he retorted that he had "the best doctors in a dozen dimensions" mend and reconstitute his body, yet they were unable to fix his appearance. Meanwhile, Oliver's wails began to agitate Mark, and noting this, Angstrom goaded Invincible into attacking. As the two readied themselves, Angstrom charged his power in a defensive move to teleport Invincible to a dimension of sapient talking dinosaurs. The Jurassic predators size up Mark as a rare delicacy and are taken aback at the his ability to speak. Invincible narrowly evades the Jurassic jaws and is brought back to his original dimension via another portal opened by Angstrom.

Angstrom, now with a quiet, uneasy Oliver in his hands, welcomed Mark back to his universe and commented on Oliver's unique pigment, closing with a threat on Oliver's life and how unique he is to this dimension, as none of the Marks he had ever met had a brother. Mark threatens Angstrom, who replied he had no intention of harming the Grayson family, unless that was the only avenue to hurting Invincible. Angstrom then tossed Oliver into the air like a plaything, with Debbie rushing to catch her stepson, leaping head first into the chair. Enraged, Mark dashed towards Angstrom, who sent him to another dimension, but not without the concussive force of Mark's speed pushing him back. Continuing his rage and force, Mark is sent through the portal into an alternative universe superhero battle between Prof. Ock and Agent Spider, where he apologetically slammed into the former, believing him to be an innocent old man being accosted by the latter. Agent Spider, in response, thanked the bewildered Invincible, trying to explain the dynamic of who the "good guy" was, explaining it was not the first time an unknown superhero had come through a portal and helped him defeat a villain.

Back at the Grayson house, Debbie tried to console a frightened Oliver, to which Angstrom berated her for "lying" to her son as she had no true way of knowing the outcome. Debbie, frustrated and angered, said that he promised he wouldn't hurt them in which Angstrom corrects her and adds that they were only safe so long as Mark suffered and died. He then opened a portal and brought back Mark, adorned with a web courtesy of Agent Spider. Seeing the irritated Invincible, Angstrom readied another portal underneath Debbie and Oliver, one where it would lead to them falling a considerable height. Mark then composed himself and stated he was not a killer, and that he apologized for forgetting Angstrom's name, but remembered that Angstrom had initially attempted to save Invincible. Unable to distinguish his alternate selves' memories, Angstrom refused to believe that he would save someone as evil as Invincible and sent him to yet another dimension.

With Mark gone once more, Angstrom rhetorically stated that he would never save Invincible, leading to a flashback of the Mauler Twins and their variants beating Invincible which led to Angstrom disconnecting himself from the machine and causing the explosion; a vision of an variant of Angstrom standing up to an evil variant of Invincible; and a vision of Angstrom and Angstrom Jr. clutching a red fox named "Chainsaw" as the building they were in began to shake and crack around them. Angstrom Jr., scared himself, told his father that Chainsaw was scared. Likewise afraid, Angstrom attempted to alleviate his son's worry in a similar manner to Debbie only to be interrupted by Capevincible who condescended to Angstrom before using his super speed to almost teleport to Angstrom Jr., grabbing his neck and murdering him in front of his father. Angstrom continues relive the lives of Angstroms who suffered in the realities where an Invincible existed.

Overcome with the grief and pain in living in other of Angstrom's realities, he screamed out that Invincible was a murderer and a monster, again refusing to believe he would ever save him and that he deserved to die before opening a portal to bring back Invincible. Mark flew back through instantly, knocking Angstrom off his feet with a Dragon's Breathrifle and demanding he stop, offering himself in exchange for his family's safety. However, the mad scientist, wanting Invincible to pay for what his alternate versions have done, instead chucked a knife towards Debbie and Oliver, leading to Invincible grabbing it and being sent through another portal. Angstrom then quipped that this Invincible was just as easy to trick as the others.

Turning to Debbie, Angstrom monologued about which dimension would weaken Mark the most. Debbie used this distraction to grab a nearby pot and smashed it over the supervillain's head. Barely affected, Angstrom smacked Debbie to the ground who armed herself with a shard of pottery and slashed Angstrom across the chest with it. As she attempts to flee, Angstrom brought Invincible back directly into the path of his mother, whom he narrowly evaded. Angstrom then rapidly opened portals between him and Invincible, eventually capturing him in one.

Debbie begged Angstrom to stop, only for Angstrom to retort that in several universes, Debbie joined her Viltrumite husband and son in their genocide of humans, declaring the Grayson family legacy one of blood. Debbie adamantly proclaims that she raised the son who defied his father and saved her life, chastising Angstrom for being bitter that her son is the hero and he is the villain in this universe. Outraged, Angstrom threw her onto a coffee table and snapped her forearm in half, stating his actions would save the world from her Viltrumite son.

DimensionBattle

Freefall battle ensues.

As Mark was sent across multiple other universes, he eventually caught on to Angstrom's pattern: Angstrom always expected Invincible to fly through a return portal as soon as it opened. Although Angstrom opened a new one, Mark did not take the bait, causing Angstrom to become curious and peer into the portal himself to identify Mark's location, but he is ambushed by Invincible. Upon seeing his brutalized mother, Invincible lost all feelings of remorse and slammed Angstrom into the asphalt outside his home. Angstrom then revealed that the doctors he had consulted to heal him had also improved his physical abilities. His plan was to weaken Mark by sending him through countless alternate dimensions, each designed to wear him down, making it easier to kill him. Though his enhancements initially made him a match for Mark throughout many of the universes they traveled to, his constant threats of violence against Mark's family finally push Invincible over the edge once transported to a desolate place.

The Madman's end..

Unable to hold back anymore, Invincible physically and mentally unloaded all of his pent up stress onto Angstrom Levy, punching him through the air, slamming him to the ground, and beating him down until he finally made a fist with both his hands interlocked and brutally pulverized the villain's head into red mush in one fatal blow, finally ending Angstrom's threats but leaving Mark stranded in a wasteland dimension.

Mark then wandered the wasteland dimension briefly, commenting on how hopeless the situation appeared. However, a small band of future Guardians of the Globe (Atom Eve, Bulletproof, Monster Girl, Knockout, Older Thor, and Rex Splode wearing Robot's armor) recovered Mark and transported him back to the present era, by using a similar ability to Angstrom's universal portals. They explained that it had taken 20 years to find the dimension Mark was trapped in, and in that time, they had developed 4 working time machines. In any event, Mark was saved from the wasteland dimension, putting an end to Angstrom Levy's harm.

Cheating Death[]

However, this is not the case, as after Invincible left to think about his accidental murder, Angstrom's had enough strength to summon a portal, to transport him to an apocalyptic world where a trio of cybernetic scientists helped and rebuild his body, stronger than before.

For an unknown period of months he then began to build drone orbs, spying on Mark Grayson and his friends.

Spying on the Graysons.

One evening an orb spied on Mark and Eve and that same night another orb belonging, to none other than a rebuild Angstrom Levy, spying on Mark, Debbie and Oliver. Only this time Mark saw.

Deals with the Destroyers[]

To exact a victorious win against Invincible, he ventured to over 19 dimensions, encompassing 19 pf the most powerful chaotic Invincibles in the multiverse to agree to his plan, and exchange for their services will give them any world or person they desire.

The War begins...

One night upon spying on Invincible and Atom Eve for the third and final time, Angstrom arose from his chair and took delight in his new army declaring it will do and would start the horrific war known as the "Invincible War" to attack the mainstream dimension and ruin the good name of Invincible.

Invincible War[]

Day3Destruction

Angstrom watches the Invincible War.

The many different variants of Invincible are sent to the mainstream dimension by Angstrom to wreak havoc, death, and destruction on a global level. The war lasted for over three days, resulting in massive devastation as the heroes and other forces struggle to hold of the assault. Near the end of the third day, the variants are summoned by Angstrom Levy to meet over the Grayson's house to move on to Phase 2 of his plan.

Angstrom congratulates the surviving members of Evil Invincible team.

The remaining eight variants meet over their old house and Angstrom eventually arrives after a while, saying he likes to make an entrance. Angstrom Levy proceeds to praise the variants, telling that they not only destroyed Invincible's world but also destroyed him and that the attack would make the world think of the war when they remember his name. Angstrom then orders them to bring the mainstream Invincible to him so that he can pay him back face to face, only for Sinister Invincible and the other variants to refuse. Sinister Invincible exclaims to Levy that his plan resulted in the variants losing most of their members and Target Invincible then comes in, telling Angstrom that they had a deal with him which he has yet to pay them. The variants face Angstrom with Sinister Invincible threatening him to give them their dimensions they want otherwise they would all kill him. Mohawk Invincible tells him that if they kill Angstrom Levy, they would be stuck in the main dimension, instead suggesting to torture Angstrom to which the other variants agreed to. Before any of the variants could kill him, Angstrom Levy opens his portals, startling them long enough for him to summon his drones and send them into the desolate, wasteland dimension he trapped the mainstream Invincible in before.

Angstrom Levy expresses out his disappointment. Though he unsurprised that the Alternate Invincibles would betray him, he did not expect they would do it sooner.

It was then when Cecil teleported the Mainline Invincible to confront Angstrom, where Angstrom uses his drones to attack Invincible, sharing that he has surgeons ready to treat him in case Invincible is too much for him to handle. Invincible and Angstrom Levy continues their fight where Invincible dodges the portals which impresses Angstrom who continues to attack him with his drones.

InvinciblevsBalls

Angstrom sends hordes of his drones to defeat Invincible.

As Angstom Levy sends hordes of drones to push Invincible into a portal, he assures him that he will bring him back after he destroyed everything he loves. That angered Invincible to overpower the drones, closing in onto Angstrom Levy just as the portal opening villain's drones began to slowly deplete in numbers.

DOIT

Angstrom is nearly by Invincible when Oliver, the child he once used to wound Debbie commands Mark to kill Angstrom.

Invincible then grabs Angstom Levy as Kid Omni-Man arrives, telling his brother to kill Angstrom Levy before he escapes, to make him pay for the lives he has destroyed. But before Invincible can do so, Angstrom Levy has one more drone that struck Invincible in the head, distracting him long enough for him to open a portal. Invincible reaches out, grabbing Angstrom by the arm but the portal closes, slicing off his arm. Oliver goes to his brother, expressing out how gross it is to see Invincible holding onto Angstrom's arm.

Angstrom goes up to his Technicians, his plan failed, he orders them to fix his wound so that he can bring all the Invincibles back and finish this. However, the Technicians refuses to respond, leaving Angstrom angrily lashing out at how their names reflects them as cold heartless monsters, even questioning on are they gonna let him bleed to death. The Technicians refuses to treat Angstrom Levy, approaching him. Angstrom tries to flee but the technology on his head emits a painful vibration, causing him to drop on his knees as the Technicians tells him that he made promises to them that he failed to deliver as his world has no value to them. The Technicians then tells Angstrom that he works for them now. The Technicians tells Angstrom that if he agrees, they will eventually treat his wound but if he refuses, his body would benefit their research.

Post-Invincible War[]

He agrees, as the Technicians replaces Angstrom's arm with a cybernetic arm by treating his wounds.
