Cecil's Kill Switch is a device created by the Global Defense Agency and often used by its leader, Cecil Stedman.
It acts as a remote for a deadly sound device embedded in the victim's head (namely Viltrumites), which subsequently emits a particular frequency that disrupts balance for the duration the button is held down.

Atlantis[]
In 2023, Invincible traveled to Atlantis to negotiate peace with the Queen. Due to Omni-Man's confrontation with the previous King, Aquarus, he was compelled to battle the Depth Dweller. In the battle, the G.D.A. detected a strong sonic scream that momentarily disabled Invincible. He instructed Donald to have the tech team set up a comparable sound effect for a weapon later on.
Turning Point[]
Invincible faced Cecil in the White Room, and as Invincible defeated the ReAnimen, Cecil concealed himself to trigger a kill switch that inflicted severe pain in Invincible's head. It was uncovered that a tech team managed to reverse-engineer the noise Invincible detected in Atlantis from the deep dweller, but they employed it for a kill switch. The switch could function even beyond the G.D.A.
Cecil kept using it on Invincible when he arrived at the Guardians Headquarters, but Rex Splode destroyed it, believing that breaking the switch would silence the noise in Invincible's equilibrium.
Invincible War[]
A while later, Cecil managed to acquire another one and deployed it against another Invincible that attacked the G.D.A., though this device soon overloaded and shorted out in Cecil's hand.
