The Coalition of Planets (C.O.P.) is an intergalactic peacekeeping organization dedicated to stopping the Viltrum Empire from taking over the universe. Led by its founder, Great Thaedus.
History[]
Foundation[]
Eons ago, Thaedus, who became the very first Viltrumite to ever betray his people, founded the Coalition of Planets, with the singular purpose of stopping his people's reign of terror across the known universe. To this day, no Coalition member knows of Thaedus' true origins.
Thaedus built the organization on Talescria, the only safe haven from the Viltrumites, and enlisted many agents like Allen the Alien to bolster enough worlds and races to prepare a "future attack" against the empire.
The Scourge Virus[]
New Hope[]
In 2023, Allen mentioned to Invincible a power struggle is brewing in the far reaches of space, with the Viltrumites and the Coalition will enlist enough planets to arm and strike back. During Allen's absence, the Viltrumites attacked Aikreon, upon finding out that they were joining the Coalition, both Allen and Thaedus came to the conclusion that there's a mole in the organization.
In late 2023, through Invincible's aid, the Coalition discovered a number of resources that could harm, if not kill the nigh-invulnerable Viltrumites. Additionally, after his latest near death experience against the Viltrumites, Allen grew more powerful and finally able to match them in battle.

In early 2024, shortly after recruiting Nolan, both he and Allen were assigned by Thaedus to locate all potential assets noted in Nolan's books for the impending final confrontation with the Empire.
Viltrumite Countermeasures[]
- Scourge Virus: Developed from Thaedus' DNA, the virus targets Viltrumites by compromising their immune systems, deactivating their strength and invulnerability. The sole method of survival is by having a uniquely strong immune system and patiently waiting for the virus to run its course.
- Nolan's Books: Attained from Invincible on Earth, which archives notes on weapons and beings capable of harming and killing Viltrumites.
- Rognarrs: Non-sentient alien beasts, which are capable of harming and killing Viltrumites.
- Infinity Ray: Signature weapon of Space Racer; which emits an unstoppable energy wave that destroyed anything in its path, capable of harming and killing Viltrumites.
- Tech Jacket (Suit): Created by Gelderians, the Tech Jacket suit is able to combat Viltrumites, as the Tech Jacket of Earth was able to best an evil variant of Invincible, who was totally devoted to the Viltrum Empire in his universe.
