Appearance
Conquest is a towering Caucasian man. Like all adult male Viltrumites, he sports a thick but well-groomed mustache. He is very old, even by Viltrumite standards, with noticeable wrinkles, crooked teeth, and grey hair that has begun balding. Despite this, he retains a massive and equally well-defined muscular build. His clothing is that of an adult male Viltrumite: a white and gray garment resembling a bodystocking, but he was eventually given an elite uniform similar to Anissa's, featuring a circular symbol with three vertical lines in the center of his chest. His pelvic region is covered by a simple loincloth, and he wears a sturdy pair of white boots.
While his healing powers were temporarily impaired, during an incident on Savage Planet, he received a long scar running diagonally across his face, from the top of his left temple over his right eye, blinding it to his right cheek. His right arm was removed up to below the bicep and replaced with a cybernetic right hand to replace the one he lost to a Rognarr. It is bronze in color, featuring silver plating and amethyst lights.
Personality
Conquest is primarily a veteran, battle-tested, extremely skilled, and completely ruthless fighter. While loyal to the empire, in contrast to his peers, he does not fully support the Viltrumite cause, rather instead sees it as an excuse to indulge in his love of fighting and killing. He portrays himself as a menacing, frightening force eager for violence and destruction. He primarily aims to confront strong, worthy opponents motivated by his indulgent craving for blood stemming from his immense strength. Conquest sees his opponents as simply "toys" for him to manipulate or torment. This leads to a deep desire for an opponent who can offer a real challenge, although it can occasionally make him undervalue his foe.
He is quite talkative, engaging in constant conversation with Invincible during their fight and is simultaneously supportive and mocking towards his enemies. During his confrontation with Invincible, he consistently mocked him, even urging him to retaliate more fiercely to fulfill his desire for a fitting, grand battle, by harming or tormenting those he cherished to drive him to attain his highest potential. Similar to all Viltrumites, he views love and empathy as vulnerabilities. After seemingly murdering Atom Eve, he mocked Invincible regarding her demise, then expressed gratitude for finally providing him a chance to kill and wreak havoc without any limitations. His hubris briefly diminished on two occasions: first when an enraged Invincible bit a chunk out of his shoulder, and second when a full powered Atom Eve seared much of his flesh, knocking him down temporarily. Even when faced with certain death at the hands of Invincible, Conquest persisted in mocking him while delivering head-butts until his skull shattered, deriving great amusement from Invincible's emotional rage.
Yet, underneath this cruel and antisocial facade exists a profound solitude and resentment. In a unique moment of honesty, he openly confesses to Invincible that he is indeed weary of being a mere weapon, utilized solely for killing repeatedly, and longs for a connection. His success in subjugating planets and destroying civilizations has rendered him somewhat of an outsider, even among his fellow Viltrumites—which has resulted in him no longer possessing a true name, just a stark title. He continues explaining that this lengthy existence has profoundly impacted him, filling him with rage and sadness.
Conquest is motivated by a desire for the excitement and rush of pure combat, even to the extent of overshadowing his allegiance to the Viltrumite cause. He is incredibly merciless, to the extent that he willingly partakes in the slaughter of the innocent, solely to irritate Invincible even more. He possesses a somewhat distorted sense of honor, as he genuinely praises Invincible multiple times in their fight, respects the bravery of Oliver and Atom Eve, and ultimately acknowledges his defeat at Invincible's hands.
He possesses a dry sense of humor, being both witty and sarcastic, and even cracks jokes about the brutal beating he received from Invincible, simply chuckling that he "takes the good with the bad." While he can grow overconfident and certain in how something will play out, angered when it does not, he can also accept whatever happens too and not be bothered much even in the face of defeat.
Powers and Abilities
Powers
- Viltrumite Physiology: As a Viltrumite, Conquest is an advanced being with extremely potent and well-developed genetics. From this, he eventually manifested a wide array of abilities common among his race, each of which will only steadily continue to grow more powerful as he ages. At the same time, ranking among the elites of his race, Conquest's powers are noted to be significantly more advanced than most others. He is well-recognized as one of the strongest Viltrumites to ever exist, second only to the Grand Regent himself. Despite Invincible's rigorous training with the Global Defense Agency, which may have positioned him above Anissa, it required the united efforts of both him and a fully-powered Atom Eve to defeat Conquest. Furthermore, as stated by Cecil Stedman, Conquest could potentially defeat Nolan.
- Decelerated Aging: Conquest possesses an extraordinary lifespan. This stems from his body gradually aging slower the longer he lives. From this, it allows him to retain his health, vitality, conditioning, performance, and youthful appearance that much longer. Despite being several millennia old, and his features being visibly old, he remains a robust individual whose general efficiency remains unhindered.
- Dominant Genes: Viltrumite genes are extremely adaptive and powerful. So potent, he is able to reproduce with almost any other race and his genetics will almost completely overshadow the inherit genetics of the mate, making said offspring almost purely Viltrumite themselves. Likewise, the more naturally compatible the genetics are to the mate's race, the sooner and more likely the offspring will inherit all the standard Viltrumite abilities.
- Flight: Conquest can levitate himself in the air and propel himself in any direction he desires, able to alter his trajectory mid-flight, letting him maneuver seamlessly through various environments.
- Nigh-Invulnerability: Conquest exhibits a remarkable level of durability, with the ability to withstand powerful blows, falls from great heights, virtually any environment unhindered, and various forms of physical trauma without harm.
- Reactive Adaptation: Conquest has a propensity for continual growth and improvement throughout his lifespan. His physical strength, speed, and durability progressively augment in correlation with the level of adversity he faces or the severity of injuries he recovers from. Moreover, his combat experience fosters an innate ability to assimilate knowledge and insights from past encounters, enabling him to gradually refine his tactics and enhance his efficiency in subsequent engagements.
- Regenerative Healing Factor: Conquest's body can recover from injuries in a day, if not mere minutes. He can restore broken bones, torn muscles, and damaged organs; he can even regrow lost anatomy with no lingering signs. This varies based on the severity of the injury. Likewise, he is virtually immune to almost all forms of illness and contamination.
- Superhuman Senses: Conquest possesses an exceptional auditory perception surpassing human capabilities, allowing him to discern sounds emanating from considerable distances and selectively drown out specific noises. His hearing could distinctly hear Atom Eve's labored breathing from a considerable distance while she was wore a helmet to cover it. His vision is equally advanced, able to discern distant objects with the same clarity as though they were in close proximity. Likewise, this grants him an equally powerful equilibrium and balance, able to maintain his stability and poise even in challenging situations.
- Superhuman Lung Capacity: Conquest's lungs can let him go unhindered without air for extended periods of time, spanning several weeks. Likewise, it is able to endure the harsh void of space unprotected, allowing him to make interstellar travel at will.
- Superhuman Speed: Conquest can move at tremendous speed, able to travel anywhere in the world in mere minutes if not seconds. His speed also extends to his reflexes and reaction time, able to follow other superfast targets. He is much faster than light and capable of crossing intergalactic distances in mere weeks.
- Superhuman Stamina: Conquest can sustain physical exertion for prolonged periods of time without showing any signs of exhaustion. He can likewise endure some of the most grievous of injuries that would instantly kill a human, excluding too much damage to his heart or brain. He also can go for several weeks without sleep or sustenance unhindered.
- Superhuman Strength: Conquest exhibits the ability to lift and press several tons, showcasing immense physical strength that allows him to confront powerful adversaries. He surpasses most Viltrumites in brute strength and nearly killed Invincible and Kid Omni-Man, leaving them on the brink of death with several fatal wounds, despite their own immense durability.
Abilities
- Intimidation: In addition to how formidable and merciless he is, due to his sheer ferocity and sadism, Conquest instills dread even in the most resilient of spirits. Even fellow Viltrumites, including Anissa, the mightiest female Viltrumite, has never had the courage to confront the savage warrior and has advised Invincible to do the same.
- Master Combatant: While he still relies mainly on his natural Viltrumite abilities to defeat opponents, Conquest is a trained warrior, relying on his eons of experience, which makes him well skilled and formidable in hand-to-hand combatant, as he survived the Great Purge. Even with a single usable arm, he remains a deadly combatant, able to overwhelm Invincible one-on-one.
Equipment
- Cybernetic Right Hand: Conquest has been given a cybernetic right hand to replace the one he permanently lost to a Rognarr after briefly becoming weaker from the Scourge Virus. It is bronze in color, featuring silver plating and amethyst lights. It was destroyed during his battle with Invincible. The alloy is proven to be exceedingly durable, able to essentially keep up with Conquest's raw strength and likewise harm foes as durable as Invincible.
- Utility Belt: Conquest wears a utility belt containing the equipment he needs during assigned missions.
Weaknesses
- Excessively High Frequency: High-frequency noise can have harmful effects on the ears of Viltrumites. It disturbs their balance, restricts their flying capability, induces severe pain, and could potentially lead to their death. The frequency intensity dictates the degree of pain felt.
- Extreme Force: Even though Viltrumites rank among the universe's mightiest, they are not entirely invincible. Viltrumites are vulnerable to entities with comparable or superior strength.
- Scourge Virus: Developed from Viltrumite DNA, the virus targets Viltrumites by compromising their immune systems, diminishing, if not deactivating, their strength, invulnerability, and healing powers. Likewise, any injuries that improperly heal while the Viltrumite's powers remain impaired by the virus will become the permanent default of their health even after their powers return. The sole method of survival is by having a uniquely strong immune system and patiently waiting for the virus to run its course.

Trivia
- Conquest is based on Non.
- He is the fourth major antagonist of the series, the others being: Alternate Invincibles, Angstrom Levy, and Omni-Man.
- He is voiced by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who also played Negan in The Walking Dead.
- Steven Yeun, who voices Invincible, also plays Glenn in The Walking Dead, who was ironically murdered by Negan. This contrasts with the fight in "I Thought You'd Never Shut Up", where in Yeun's character defeats Morgan's rather than the opposite.
- Interestingly enough, both him and Lauren Cohen portrayed Thomas and Martha Wayne in Batman V Superman: Dawn of justice.
- Notably, Robert Kirkman created the comics that The Walking Dead TV series is based on, exactly the same as Invincible and its respective comics.
- Conquest was briefly mentioned in episode 7 in Season 2 when Anissa won the fight against Mark. Anissa stated that Conquest would soon arrive on Earth and demonstrate the errors of his ways.
- Conquest's physical appearance also resembles Victor Sullivan from the Uncharted Series.
- Because of his older appearance, already looking as such during the Great Purge, Conquest is likely the oldest Vitrumite alive.
- The term "Conquest" can refer to the domination or control over an enemy, a captured base, or an area for the use of an ally’s military force. However, it also has other similar meanings. Interestingly, Conquest himself reveals that he doesn't actually have a real name, and that "Conquest" is merely a title or purpose. This could be because he was never given one at birth, or perhaps he has lived for so long—surpassing even the typical lifespan of a Viltrumite—that his original name is no longer remembered.
- In the comics, Conquest's role was very important to Mark Grayson's performance as a hero. His personality was entirety chaotic and sadistic to the point of irredeemable. Almost similar to Battle Beast where he enjoyed slaughtering worthy foes but doesn't care of the Viltrum Empire. Nolan himself even had some respect for Conquest's immense strength.
- In the comics [1](see pictures below), Conquest wields a cybernetic prosthetic arm (which also resembles the Infinity Gauntlet from the Marvel Comics), and a according to a trade paperback of his appearance is actually is a droid that can be separated from its user and was built by the empire to train viltrumites.
- Conquest is similar to Battle Beast in that he fought driven by bloodlust and a craving for the exhilaration of combat. However, he differed in that Battle Beast had a strong sense of honor, whereas Conquest has no such reservations.
- Although Conquest bears a remarkable resemblance to the Marvel comics character Cable (older, silver haired, muscular, battle-hardened, missing an eye, bionic arm) in the Invincible Omnibus Robert Kirkman insists this was not intentional, and merely a happy coincidence.
- Conquest is one of two characters in the series who are voiced by a character from The Walking Dead tv show (which is also based on a comic book by Robert Kirkman.) He is voiced by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who also played Negan. The other being Mark who is voiced by Steven Yeun, who played Glenn.
- In I Thought You'd Never Shut Up. Conquest's clothes and skin get burned off by Atom Eve leaving only muscle, which explains why you cant see his genitalia afterwards, meaning invincible was not sitting on his genitals when he was beating him until he's unconscious.
- Before his television debut Conquest appears as a cameo in Omni-Man's arcade ending in the 2023 video game Mortal Kombat 1.
