Background
Early Life

Conquest is among the survivors of the Great Purge.
Many eons ago, during the Argall era, Conquest was born on the planet Viltrum. He is older than most Viltrumites. In his early years, it is unknown what he thought of his sovereign, but after the emperor's death, the Viltrumite veteran engaged in a bloody survival of the fittest conflict called the Great Purge along with the rest of his race and was one of many to survive the civil war. Not long afterward, he joined the survivors in their universal expansion goals.
At some point in his life, Conquest was a great patriot to both the Empire and its imperialistic cause, but over the years his sadistic hedonistic bloodlust consumed him entirely and drove him to become nothing more than a tamed rabid animal existing only for the thrill of the hunt. Having never failed to assimilate a targeted planet, Conquest was recognized as one of the most powerful Viltrumite warriors, second only to Grand Regent Thragg himself, and was highly revered by many, uniquely by "The Great Nolan" himself, whom Conquest also respected for his strength and ruthlessness, and he possibly trained him during his youth. As a result of his unstable mind, Conquest was labeled an outcast by his fellow subjects, as they were too afraid of his power.
The Scourge Virus
During the Scourge Virus, Conquest was one of its rare survivors. While he endured because of his exceptionally robust immune system, Conquest and the other remaining survivors became weaker for a brief time.

Advent of Conquest
Heralding the Storm

Anissa heeds Invincible to Conquest's impending arrival.
In late 2023, during her inspection of Earth, Anissa alludes to Invincible that Conquest, a far less reasonable but far more powerful Viltrumite warrior, will soon arrive to hopefully see Invincible obeying the empire; if not, the world would pay the price of his poor judgement. She prayed that Mark's mindset would change by then. Consequently, Invincible began an intense training program with the Global Defense Agency to prepare for the impending invasion, resulting in his strength being enhanced more than ever, possibly rivalling that of Anissa's.
Invincible's Reckoning

Conquest easily overpowers and dominates Invincible.
In early 2024, several months after Anissa's reconnaissance, in the aftermath of the Invincible War, Conquest made his presence known to Invincible to confirm his allegiance and officially pass judgment on both him and the entire planet's population. Traumatized and engulfed in rage from the numerous losses he just faced, Invincible ironically shows appreciation for his arrival as he longed to strike something hard. Conquest joyfully responds to his challenge by engaging the young Viltrumite hybrid in a wide cataclysmic battle across the devastated city. Following their initial clash, Conquest reveals he possesses no genuine loyalty to the Viltrumite cause, as his only aim is to fight strong, worthy opponents fueled by his indulgent lust for blood. The battle raged on, and even with Invincible's utmost determination, Conquest turns out to be far too powerful for him. After allowing Invincible a couple of "free hits" to determine if he could truly amuse him, Conquest ceased to restrain himself.

Invincible was at the mercy of Conquest, who brutalized him into a gruesome mess. Invincible tried to persuade Conquest to pause the fight, but he declined, relishing the moment and menacing to kill the humans he loves to encourage Invincible to put forth more effort. Out of nowhere, Kid Omni-Man showed up to help his older sibling. As Invincible pressed Oliver to exit the battlefield, Conquest effortlessly defeated the two sons of Nolan. Conquest also disclosed to Invincible that, to his knowledge, Nolan was executed. Oliver hurried in to rescue his brother from imminent demise; consequently, Conquest chose to focus on him. After literally knocking Invincible aside, Conquest nearly killed Oliver, seizing him by the head and legs, pulling the boy to rip him apart, but was rescued by a revived Invincible. Soon after, Cecil and a paramedics team arrived to extract Oliver from the combat zone.

As the conflict continued, Invincible observed in despair as Conquest led to the deaths of numerous innocents on a beach and in the city. Soon afterwards, a completely healed Atom Eve, who sustained injuries during the Invincible War, came to help in the battle. Intrigued by the latest arrival, Conquest directed his efforts towards eliminating her, but Invincible stepped in, causing Mark to sustain severe injuries. Conquest ridiculed Mark's kindness towards the weak. Atom Eve created a piece of armor to fight Conquest; she immobilized him in mid-air by increasing the air's density, providing her with a small edge. Nevertheless, Conquest noted that her laborious breathing wouldn't allow her to sustain this exertion for much longer. In spite of her best attempts, the veteran dismantled her armor before striking a nearly lethal blow that split Atom Eve's face in half. He then thrusted his hand into her body, stunning Invincible immensely. Invincible caught her as she fell and started crying for Cecil to assist. Conquest recognized Invincible's deep bond with Eve and the lack of similar affection in Viltrumites.

Conquest ridiculed Invincible's affection for Eve, as he grasped the reason behind Invincible's concern for humanity. At that moment, Conquest thanked him for opposing the Empire, for providing a reason to fully display his power, free from any limitations. Overcome with grief and fury at what he believed was Eve's death, Invincible swore to kill Conquest no matter the cost, which impressed him after all he had forced him to suffer. Then, he urged him to "Do His Worst". The clash continued as Invincible managed to shatter Conquest's cybernetic arm, losing his own in the effort. Invincible relentlessly attacked Conquest while the latter attempted to wrap him in a bear hug. Invincible retaliated by biting off a chunk of Conquest's flesh from his shoulder, finally starting to genuinely harm the veteran. Conquest threw him away, and he subsequently spitted out the torn flesh. As they continued their battle, Atom Eve's mental limiters were shattered, awakening her full abilities, which healed her critical injuries, and turned her into a being of pure energy. Just as he was about to slay Invincible, Atom Eve struck with such force that it burned away Conquest's skin and clothes from his body.

Conquest is head-butted to submission by Invincible.
As the Viltrumite fell, Atom Eve returned to her normal form, naked before she collapsed and lay bare on the ground. Invincible gazed at her, confused by what had just happened, while Conquest stood, his body severely injured from the blast. The Viltrumite growled menacingly, vowing to make certain she was truly dead. Enraged, Invincible ascended swiftly to shatter Conquest's jaw and he restrained him to pummel him to death with his one remaining hand. However, Conquest caught his fist with his own hand before he squeezed tightly, crushing Invincible's hand. In agony, Invincible mercilessly head-butted Conquest, asking him if he's still having fun. Even though Conquest's face was shattered, he scoffed that he embraced the good with the bad. Outraged, Invincible kept head-butting him until Conquest's skull was utterly crushed. Ultimately, concluding the battle, Invincible pulled himself over to Atom Eve just before they both lost consciousness from their overexertion.
Prisoner of War

Three days later, upon regaining consciousness from his injuries at the G.D.A., a healing Invincible insisted on seeing Conquest's body to confirm his death, and Cecil relented. Upon verifying his demise, Invincible instructed Cecil to incinerate his decayed body, but Cecil misled him, as what he saw was actually a conjured imitation of Conquest's corpse. Cecil had imprisoned the real Conquest, who was severely wounded but still very much alive, in a 400-ton steel cage in the Mojave Desert, six miles below the Earth's surface, in order to obtain information about the Viltrum Empire and how to finally put an end to them.
