Appearance[]

Physique[]

Mark has black hair with a widows-peak that is combed back with a few strands sticking up, and brown eyes.

Clothing[]

Invincible's hair sticks out of the top of his suit which has a yellow mask with goggles. The suit is yellow down the middle, stopping at his waist in an upside-down triangle shape, it also bears blue on the shoulders and going into the yellow in somewhat of an M shape. The rest of his costume is black aside from the yellow gloves and blue boots that start from his knee's down.

Personality[]

This version of Mark is portrayed as an evil and delusional zealot who is dedicated to achieving the Viltrum Army's goals.

He frames his cruelty as benevolent. He tells Immortal that he is trying to save lives despite directly destroying countless lives and cities. He breaks Atom Eve's spine and paralyzes her, claiming that his affection prevents him from killing her but that he "can't let her hurt anyone else". He blames the death and destruction he creates on the people fighting for freedom, either unable or unwilling to grasp his culpability.

His delusion allows him to seemingly exhibit no hatred towards the subjects of his brutality. He plans to have people care for a disabled Atom Eve and even make personal visits despite being the one to break her spine. Having no regard for the lives or emotional well being of humans especially resistance fighters, he smiles and employs a condescending tone when preparing to kill people like Angstrom despite the anger and fear they display.

History[]

Backstory[]

Mark Grayson was born to Nolan Grayson, a Viltrumite male, and Debbie Grayson, a human female. At some point, Mark would gain his abilities and become the superhero known as "Invincible". Sometime later, Mark would have a temporary relationship with another hero, Atom Eve. While initially against his father's offer in joining the Viltrum Empire, for unknown reasons, he ultimately came to see Nolan's side of things and agreed to help him conquer Earth.

Decimating Earth[]

After accepting the offer, the duo decimated Earth, leaving only a small handful of heroes and human armies to stop them, along with causing Eve to turn against him after learning of his sinister actions. They also presumably destroyed the Global Defense Agency, killed the Guardians of the Globe and any remaining heroes left such as Rex Splode, leaving only heroes like Eve, Robot, and the Immortal to fight back against them.

At another point, Invincible finally managed to kill Rex.

At another point, He and Omni-Man had killed thousands of people because of Eve's team during their attempts to swoon the earth over to their leisure.

Destroying the Resistance[]

Mark and Nolan

Mark and Nolan look at Eve (off-screen).

Invincible would be seen in the skies fighting against the Immortal. With Nolan's help, Invincible was able to get the upper hand against him and permanently kill him off by crushing his decapitated head. While Nolan remarks on his disappointment with the Immortal's resistance, the two of them realize that he was merely a distraction as they discovered an underground resistance team in the wreckage of the city. Upon discovering the location of their enemies, they realized that the rebellion was being led by Robot and Eve, two of the few heroes who remained in the aftermath of their oppressive rule. While Omni-Man confronted Robot, Mark faced off against Eve, who still harbored a twisted sense of care for him. Ultimately, Mark decides to spare Eve by paralyzing her, explaining that he has "friends" who would take care of her so he can visit her during his spare time. After dealing with all the heroes, Invincible and Omni-Man eliminated the last of the resistance, but not before one of them managed to escape.

Afterwards, the two went out for dinner, possibly to Burger Mart, as Omni-Man was hungry after missing lunch due to a riot in Bangkok.

Legacy[]

The Angstrom of the main universe, would be traumatized by this Angstrom's memory of Invincible as well as the memories of many other of his variants which would drive him to seek vengeance on the mainstream Invincible.

Powers and Abilities[]

Powers[]

  • Viltrumite-Human Physiology: Corruptvincible possesses all the powers of his main timeline counterpart. He is a Human-Viltrumite hybrid, though his Viltrumite genes overshadow his Human genes, making him almost a pure-blooded Viltrumite.
    • Decelerated Aging: Corruptvincible possesses an exceptionally prolonged lifespan due to his biology, which causes him to age increasingly slower over time. This decelerated aging allows him to maintain peak health, physical conditioning, and combat performance far beyond the natural limits of most beings.
    • Dominant Genes: Viltrumites genetics are incredibly potent and adaptive. Corruptvincible, like others of his kind, can reproduce with a wide range of species, with his Viltrumite DNA overwhelmingly asserting itself in the offspring. As a result, the child will typically inherit predominantly Viltrumite traits, often appearing and functioning almost entirely as a Viltrumite. The more genetically compatible the mate’s species is, the faster and more reliably the offspring will manifest the full range of standard Viltrumite abilities.
    • Flight: Corruptvincible, due to a complex balancing system located in his inner ears, possesses the ability to levitate and propel himself through the air at will, capable of reaching extreme speeds. He can effortlessly alter his trajectory mid-flight, allowing for sharp turns, sudden stops, and precise aerial maneuvering. His control enables seamless navigation through a wide range of environments.
    • Superhuman Strength: Corruptvincible possesses considerable physical strength, easily capable of lifting and pressing several tons. In his reality, he rose to power alongside his father, Omni-Man, and participated in the decimation of most of Earth’s population. During a pivotal confrontation, Corruptvincible battled the Immortal and held his own in a fierce exchange. Though the Immortal managed to temporarily gain the upper hand by grabbing Corruptvincible by the throat, Corruptvincible’s punches were noted to be more powerful. The fight ended when Omni-Man intervened and decapitated the Immortal. Following this, Corruptvincible demonstrated his brutal efficiency by crushing the Immortal’s severed head, permanently killing him. In a later encounter with Atom Eve, Corruptvincible effortlessly shattered her energy constructs and ultimately paralyzed her from the neck down. While this version of Invincible is more powerful than Imprisonvincible, Flybvincible, and Copslayvincible, he remains significantly weaker than the main Invincible and many of his alternate counterparts.
    • Nigh-Invulnerability: Mark has a remarkable degree of resilience, which renders him unharmed against all but the strongest of threats. He is unfazed by virtually any environment, or lack thereof. He can withstand recoil of his own speed.
    • Reactive Adaptation: Corruptvincible is instinctual and in short periods of time able to improve. The more he struggles, the more his physical strength, speed, and durability progressively will augment in correlation with the level of adversity he faces or the severity of injuries he recovers from.
    • Regenerative Healing Factor: Mark can heal from most injuries, even those that would normally kill humans, in short periods of time with no lingering signs, even regenerating lost anatomy like teeth, provided the injury does not prove immediately fatal.
    • Superhuman Lung Capacity: Corruptvincible possesses extraordinary lung capacity, allowing him to survive without air for extended periods. This ability enables him to operate unhindered in oxygen-deprived environments, such as the vacuum of space without protection
    • Superhuman Senses: Corruptvincible possesses extraordinary sensory abilities, far exceeding human limitations. His auditory perception allows him to hear sounds from great distances with incredible clarity, enabling him to detect even the faintest noises and selectively ignore irrelevant ones. His vision is equally advanced, providing him with the ability to see distant objects with the same sharpness and detail as though they were right in front of him. Additionally, his heightened equilibrium and balance grant him exceptional poise and stability, allowing him to maintain control and coordination in even the most difficult situations.
    • Superhuman Speed: Mark can move at incredible speeds, able to move multiple times faster than the speed of sound. He can easily achieve escape velocity of earth. It is said that he is far faster than Immortal.
    • Superhuman Stamina: Corrupted Invincible can sustain physical exertion for prolonged periods of time without showing any signs of exhaustion. He can likewise endure some of the most grievous of injuries that would instantly kill a human, excluding too much harm to his heart or brain.

Abilities[]

  • Expert Combatant: In his complete acceptance of his Viltrimite heritage, Mark apparently was fully trained as a soldier for the Viltrum Empire. To which, he proved very powerful and efficient, able to fight on par with The Immortal and shrug off the mighty hero's punches. Likewise, he was shown able to easily destroy Atom Eve's energy constructs.

Weaknesses[]

  • Excessively High Frequency: High-frequency noise can have harmful effects on the ears of Viltrumites. It disturbs their balance, restricts their flying capability, induces severe pain, and could potentially lead to their death. The frequency's intensity dictates the degree of pain felt.
  • Extreme Force: Even though Viltrumites rank among the universe's mightiest, they are not entirely invincible. Viltrumites are vulnerable to entities with comparable or superior strength.

Sightings[]

Trivia[]

  • This is the 1st evil Invincible to appear in the series.
  • Ironically enough, because Invincible was inspired by Superboy, around 2022, there was an episode in Young Justice where Superboy, a Human-Kryptonian hybrid, also became evil, serving under evil Kryptonians and nearly killed Superman in a city, he also felt very disturbed while he saw his loved one, Miss Martian supposedly dead.
  • It is unknown of what became of this Invincible's Debbie Grayson, if she had even survived her family decimating the Earth or worse, the same goes for William and Amber Bennet, if this version of Mark had ever dated Amber.
    • Strangely, this Invincible seems to retain a lingering affection for Atom Eve, which implies that he may have harbored romantic feelings for her in the past, much like his mainstream counterpart.
