Deborah "Debbie" Grayson is a major character in Invincible, serving as one of the deuteragonists of Season 1 and tritagonists of Season 2 and onward. She is the wife of Nolan Grayson, the mother of Mark and legal stepmother of Oliver Grayson.
For two decades, Debbie and Nolan have shared a beautiful affectionate life alongside their son Mark, who would later become the superhero Invincible. Upon uncovering the reality of Nolan's affiliations, she begins to question everything she once understood, grappling with the truth that the man she thought she knew and loved was just a façade, all the while caring for her son Mark and her new stepson Oliver. She later starts a new relationship with her coworker, Paul, while coping with the recent trauma from her encounter with Angstrom Levy.

Appearance[]
Debbie is a Korean woman of average height, with a slim but athletic frame, short black hair tied in a bun and brown eyes, she often wears multiple outfits, like a business real estate outfit or a green long sleeved shirt.
Personality[]
Debbie is an incredibly compassionate woman. She is a caring wife to her husband Nolan and a supportive mother to her son Mark. She has demonstrated her independence and determination every time she encounters her husband's anger and has motivated her son to be his own individual and to make decisions he feels are correct, regardless of others' views. Debbie proves to be very insightful, as she looked into her husband Nolan's role in the murder of the Guardians of the Globe and found out he was the perpetrator with assistance from Art Rosenbaum and Damien Darkblood. Nonetheless, she continued to want to see the good in him and wished there was a valid explanation for his serious wrongdoing.
Upon discovering the truth of her husband's background and seeing the destruction he wreaked in his fight against Mark, Debbie undergoes a great traumatic experience. She faces depression and a sense of loss, questioning everything she thought she knew about her family and the man she married. Thanks to Art's encouragement, she rediscovered herself and started to mend her life gradually. Always the devoted family woman, she readily took on the responsibility of caring for her new stepson Oliver, named after her father, effectively adopting him after his own mother's death.
