The Earth is a planet inhabited by many remarkably powerful beings, who have either brought war to it out of their own avarice or defended it for countless ages. For more than a thousand years, numerous superpowered individuals emerged and rapidly became well-known in the early 20th century, either as heroes or as villains. This recurrence drew numerous aliens to come and settle on Earth. This rapidly made Earth even more fragile.
Pre-Robot Era[]
Viltrumite Target[]
At one point, the Viltrumites, in their campaign to conquer the galaxy, sent Nolan to Earth to diminish its defenses and prepare for an invasion. After spending twenty years on Earth, Nolan departed from his role after a profoundly emotional encounter with his son, Mark. The war devastated numerous civilizations on Earth, attempting to recover from the devastation and confronting the reality of Omni-Man. Meanwhile, the governments of Earth, now conscious of the Viltrumites' true nature, gear up for the invasion threat by developing sophisticated weapons and investigating all possible ways to fight them.
Months later, the Viltrumites captured a fleeing Nolan for his betrayal, while General Kregg appointed Mark as the new Viltrumite Agent for Earth. Nonetheless, Mark stood firm and dismissed the requests of the Viltrum Empire.
