Personality[]

This dimensional variant embraced the role of a supervillain, readily participating in the Invincible War with a disturbing lack of concern for the widespread destruction and loss of life he inflicted.

History[]

Backstory[]

Like many others, Flaxancible's origins are largely unknown, except for the fact that he became a supervillain in his reality and somehow acquired what appeared to be Flaxan armor for his attire.

Flaxancible was one of the Invincible variants who would be assembled by Angstrom Levy to attack the mainstream dimension.

Invincible War[]

Flaxancible arrived in the mainstream universe through Angstrom's portal alongside the other variants, and immediately proceeded to destroy everything in sight.

He attacked the Global Defense Agency, destroying a good portion of The Pentagon, but ultimately he was killed by the ReAnimen, who were equipped with high frequency emitters. Donald noted how Flaxancible was definitely not as strong as the mainstream Invincible, which gave hope that the other variants could be defeated as well, but Cecil took note of how Flaxancible took a few ReAnimen down with him. He was the first alternate Invincible to be killed on-screen.

Legacy[]

Flaxancible's role in the Invincible War had tremendous repercussions on the mainstream dimensions. Entire cities and countries were reduced to rubble while numerous lives were lost.

Flaxancible's corpse was later retrieved by the GDA to be converted into a ReAniman.

Powers and Abilities[]

Powers[]

  • Viltrumite-Human Physiology: Flaxancible possesses all the powers of his main timeline counterpart. He is a Human-Viltrumite hybrid, though his Viltrumite genes overshadow his Human genes, making him almost a pure-blooded Viltrumite. As noted by Donald Ferguson, Flaxancible's powers are considerably weaker than the mainstream Invincible, as he succumbed to the ReAnimen.
    • Decelerated Aging: Flaxancible possesses an exceptionally prolonged lifespan due to his biology, which causes him to age increasingly slower over time. This decelerated aging allows him to maintain peak health, physical conditioning, and combat performance far beyond the natural limits of most beings.
    • Dominant Genes: Viltrumites genetics are incredibly potent and adaptive. Flaxancible, like others of his kind, can reproduce with a wide range of species, with his Viltrumite DNA overwhelmingly asserting itself in the offspring. As a result, the child will typically inherit predominantly Viltrumite traits, often appearing and functioning almost entirely as a Viltrumite. The more genetically compatible the mate’s species is, the faster and more reliably the offspring will manifest the full range of standard Viltrumite abilities.
    • Flight: Due a complex balancing system located in his inner ears, Flaxancible possesses the ability to levitate and propel himself through the air at will, capable of reaching extreme speeds. He can effortlessly alter his trajectory mid-flight, allowing for sharp turns, sudden stops, and precise aerial maneuvering. His control enables seamless navigation through a wide range of environments.
    • Superhuman Strength: Flaxancible possesses incredible physical strength, easily capable of lifting and pressing several tons. During the Invincible War, he demonstrated this power by storming the Pentagon and engaging a swarm of ReAnimen, destroying many with brute force. However, his onslaught was halted when Cecil activated a specialized sonic frequency that weakened him, allowing the ReAnimen to overwhelm and ultimately kill him. According to Donald Ferguson, Flaxancible’s strength is significantly below that of the mainstream Invincible, placing him among the weaker variants.
    • Nigh-Invulnerability: Flaxancible possesses extraordinary durability, making his body incredibly resilient to a vast array of attacks. He can endure nearly any assault without sustaining significant damage, including explosions, bullets, and powerful energy-based assaults. His physical resilience allows him to endure harsh environments, even surviving in the vacuum of space without issue. During the Invincible War, he demonstrated this toughness by storming the Pentagon and battling numerous ReAnimen, withstanding heavy damage in the process. However, he was eventually overwhelmed and beaten to death, with his head nearly obliterated and his right arm torn off.
    • Superhuman Speed: Flaxancible can move at incredible velocities, easily traversing the globe in mere minutes. His heightened reaction time provides a significant edge in high-speed combat scenarios. During the Invincible War, he demonstrated this by storming into the Pentagon at blinding speed, where he swiftly defeated numerous ReAnimen before eventually being overwhelmed and killed by their numbers.
    • Reactive Adaptation: Flaxancible is instinctual and in short periods of time able to improve. The more he struggles, the more his physical strength, speed, and durability progressively will augment in correlation with the level of adversity he faces or the severity of injuries he recovers from.
    • Regenerative Healing Factor: Flaxancible possesses an incredible healing factor, allowing his body to recover from injuries in mere minutes or, at most, within a few days. His regenerative abilities enable him to heal broken bones, torn muscles, damaged organs, and even regrow lost body parts without any lasting effects. This healing ability is highly dependent on the severity of the injury. Additionally, Flaxancible is virtually immune to most illnesses and contaminants, making him highly resistant to various environmental and biological threats. However, despite his advanced regeneration, his healing factor ultimately failed him during the Invincible War, where he was overwhelmed and beaten to death by the ReAnimen.
    • Superhuman Lung Capacity: Flaxancible possesses extraordinary lung capacity, allowing him to survive without air for extended periods. This ability enables him to operate unhindered in oxygen-deprived environments, such as the vacuum of space without protection.
    • Superhuman Senses: Flaxancible possesses extraordinary sensory abilities, far exceeding human limitations. His auditory perception allows him to hear sounds from great distances with incredible clarity, enabling him to detect even the faintest noises and selectively ignore irrelevant ones. His vision is equally advanced, providing him with the ability to see distant objects with the same sharpness and detail as though they were right in front of him. Additionally, his heightened equilibrium and balance grant him exceptional poise and stability, allowing him to maintain control and coordination in even the most difficult situations.
    • Superhuman Stamina: Flaxancible can sustain physical exertion for prolonged periods of time without showing any signs of exhaustion. He can likewise endure some of the most grievous of injuries that would instantly kill a human, excluding too much harm to his heart or brain.

Weaknesses[]

  • Excessively High Frequency: High-frequency noise can have harmful effects on the ears of Viltrumites. It disturbs their balance, restricts their flying capability, induces severe pain, and could potentially lead to their death. The frequency's intensity dictates the degree of pain felt.
  • Extreme Force: Even though Viltrumites rank among the universe's mightiest, they are not entirely invincible. Viltrumites are vulnerable to entities with comparable or superior strength.

Sightings[]

Trivia[]

  • This is the 20th evil Invincible to appear in the series.
  • In the comics, Flaxancible attacks the Pentagon, but was killed by the combined might of Brit, Donald and Cecil, but in the show, he faces only Cecil and Donald, while getting beaten to death by the ReAnimen.
  • Curiously, this variant had his head smashed by the ReAnimen during the Invincible War. However, when his corpse was being repurposed into a ReAniman, his head was shown to be fully in intact. His head seems to have a different shade than the rest of his body, implying it to be cybernetic.
  • In the comics, Robot points out that dimensional and multiversal travel are two different, albeit similar, manners of transportation, explaining the existence of two separate Flaxan Dimensions.
  • Because of him spending time in the Flaxan Dimension, it could be speculated that he is the second oldest Alternate Invincible, with the first being the Emperor Invincible who was mentioned by Emperor Immortal.
