Green Ghost was a minor character in Invincible. He was the original Green Ghost before being succeeded by another one as well as a former member of the Guardians of the Globe.
Appearance[]
His appearance is similar as his successor's, but with a male physique. He is slim and muscular. His body is entirely green, covering his mouth and making him appear bald. His human form remains unknown as he never reveals it.

Green Ghost's personality is unknown. He is presumably heroic given his former role as one of the Guardians.

Backstory[]
Nothing about his backstory is known, except that he became a superhero and joined the Guardians of the Globe.
Battle with the Lizard League[]
Green Ghost I pushes Salamander into the floor, and leaves him stuck.
At dusk, the Guardians of the Globe were dispatched to a distress call regarding the Lizard League breaking into a laboratory containing a serum. The purpose or contents of this serum is not revealed or known, however it is regarded to be of importance due to possible significance related to the Lizard League's ambitions. Green Ghost I along with The Immortal, Black Samson, Aquarus, and War Woman are dispatched to handle the Lizard League. Green Ghost I focuses on fighting against Salamander, using his Picnokinesis to disable him. Green Ghost I then goes after another member of the Lizard League, the member in question is unknown, and after that he is not shown for the rest of the battle.
Legacy[]
It is unknown what happen to Green Ghost. However, he would be succeeded by Alana who would take up his mantle.

- Power Via Stone: Upon ingesting a small, jade colored stone of unknown origin, the young man who would become the Green Ghost would undergo a transformation altering his body's physical appearance, seemingly generating a green aura emanating from within him.
- Ghost Mode: When in his Green Ghost form, his facial features were obscured to the point of being unidentifiable. As Green Ghost, he possessed the ability to become intangible at will. He was capable of reducing the mass of his atoms to practically zero, yet have them retain their chemical properties and volume.
- Picnokinesis: By fine tuning these atomic forces so that they applied to other atoms in his body and not to the sub-atomic structures of the world around him, Green Ghost could pass through solid matter like neutrinos, retaining his form while still capable of conscious thought and action. He could become weightless and intangible and was unable to be touched by solid matter.
- Intangibility Infusion: Green Ghost could apply his powers to others if he was in physical contact with them.
- Flight: Green Ghost could fly by altering his mass at the sub-atomic level. Green Ghost was able to mentally control this on a bodily level, so that all his atoms could be given a net gain in inertia in just one direction. This allowed his body to fly at very great speeds simply by willing it.
