Background Information[]
At some point in his life, Komodo Dragon would gain his abilities and join the Lizard League.
Some three years before Nolan's arrival on Earth, Komodo Dragon was wreaking havoc inside the Global Defence Agency base when he runs into a young Cecil Stedman and Radcliffe, the GDA's chief at the time. As he charges at them, unfazed by Cecil's gunshots, Komodo Dragon is swiftly taken down by the duo Knucklebuster and Forcefist.
Hijacking a Facility[]
War Woman fights Komodo Dragon.
Komodo Dragon hijacks a facility, following the commands of his leader Queen Lizard. He, along with the other members, are ordered to search the facility for a serum. Komodo Dragon would be interrupted when The Immortal knocks him back, followed by the arrival of War Woman, Aquarus, Black Samson, and Green Ghost I. He and his comrades would fight the heroes, with Komodo Dragon mostly focusing on the Immortal. After causing them to struggle a bit, their advantage is short-lived as Omni-Man arrives to help the Guardians. After his arrival, they were quickly defeated as their plans were thwarted.
Snake Invasion[]
At some point, Komodo Dragon would partake in an operation to turn all humans into snakes, on the behest of King Lizard. Their plans would be thwarted when the new Guardians of the Globe arrive and defeated them swiftly. Despite their defeat, they were still able to cause some civilian casualties and turn some people into snakes due to the new Guardians' lack of coordination. Possibly due to this incident, his leader would get arrested by the Global Defense Agency, leaving the league inactive for a short period of time.
Return of the Lizard King[]
Komodo Dragon would get back into action after Supreme Lizard took over as the newest leader in the Lizard League. Under his command, Komodo Dragon and the rest of the League would hit a bio research lab right before being interrupted by Shapesmith posing as the Guardians of the Globe before the actual Guardians show up. After briefly knocking out Shapesmith, Komodo Dragon and his comrades would fight against the real Guardians. Komodo Dragon and the rest of the League would once again get defeated by the Guardians.
After the embarrassing defeat at the hands of the Guardians, Komodo Dragon stands in front of the league along with the rest of his comrades as Supreme Lizard gives a speech for the Lizard League, trying to motivate them after being defeated. As they unenthusiastically chant whatever he said, Supreme Lizard gets shot in the head by none other than King Lizard himself who came back to reclaim his position.
Missile Silo[]
In Wyoming, Komodo Dragon joins the Lizard League in breaking into a military facility. The alarm is set off in the process, but this appears to be part of King Lizard's plan.

Dupli-Kate gets smashed into by Komodo Dragon.
As they are locked within the facility, Komodo Dragon asks about their next move, to which King Lizard explains they have controls to nuclear bombs that can be deployed any moment unless demands are met. Shortly after, the Guardians (Rex Splode, Dupli-Kate and Shrinking Rae) break into the center and begin fighting. Dupli-Kate takes on Komodo Dragon, who manages to kill many of her copies. He slowly gains the upper hand, eventually smashing Dupli-Kate's last two remaining copies together, killing them. Komodo Dragon then devours Shrinking Rae, who tries fighting back by enlarging herself while inside of him. Komodo Dragon's durability holds Shrinking Rae inside. Rex Splode, now the only Guardian left.
Komodo Dragon eats Rex Splode's hand, resulting his demise.
After Rex kills Iguana, Komodo Dragon bites off his hand to prevent him from hurling another explosive. However, the hand detonates in his body, blowing off his head and killing him.
Powers and abilities[]
- Superhuman strength: Physically, Komodo Dragon is the strongest member of the Lizard League. While not quite on the same level as some of the stronger members of the Guardians, he is strong enough to dismember normal humans with a single punch.
- Superhuman durability: Komodo Dragon is extremely durable, so much so that Shrinking Rae was unable to kill him by expanding inside of him, and the attempt broke every bone in her body. Likewise, Rex's explosives had little effect on him until he ingested one of them by biting off Rex's hand. This proved too much for Komodo Dragon to withstand, as the explosion ended up killing him.
