Appearance

Physique

Lucan is a tall, dark-skinned, bald man sporting a classic Viltrumite mustache. His physique is akin to that of a strongman, featuring a protruding abdomen and less sculpted muscles, yet still demonstrating considerable physical strength.

Clothing

Viltrumite Soldier Attire

During his early years as a soldier in the Viltrum Empire, Lucan dons the traditional white Viltrumite outfit.

Personality

Similar to many of his kind, Lucan is a relentless Viltrumite fighter and a devoted soldier of the Empire. He holds his ancestry in high regard and expresses disdain for inferior races (like Thraxans and Unopans). He cruelly takes pleasure in methodically tormenting his victims to death, as he tried to do with Mark in their initial meeting. Naturally, Lucan thinks that all Viltrumite traitors to the Empire should face death for bringing shame to their people, just like Nolan. He did, however, show some self-restraint, as he adhered to Viltrumite law by giving Invincible an opportunity to demonstrate his worthiness for inclusion in the Empire.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

  • Viltrumite Physiology: As a Viltrumite, Lucan is an advanced being with extremely potent and well-developed genetics. From this, he eventually manifested a wide array of abilities common among the race, each of which will only steadily continue growing more powerful as he ages.
    • Decelerated Aging: Lucan possesses an extraordinarily lifespan. This stems from his body gradually aging slower the longer he lives. From this, it allows him to retain his health, vitality, conditioning, performance, and youthful appearance that much longer. Despite being thousands of years old, he remains a robust individual.
    • Dominant Genes: As a Viltrumite, Lucan's genetics are so potent, he can reproduce with almost any other race and his genetics will almost completely overshadow the inherit genetics of the mate, making said offspring almost purely Viltrumite themselves. Likewise, the more naturally compatible the genetics are to the mate's race, the sooner and more likely the offspring will inherit all the standard Viltrumite abilities.
    • Flight: Lucan can levitate himself in the air and propel himself in any direction he desires, able to alter his trajectory mid-flight, letting him maneuver seamlessly through various environments. He is also able to fly through space.
    • Nigh-Invulnerability: Lucan's body is incredibly resilient, allowing him to withstand a wide range of attacks without sustaining any significant harm. He is unfazed by virtually any environment, or lack thereof. He can walk away unscathed from explosions, bullets, and even powerful energy-based assaults.
    • Reactive Adaptation: Lucan has a propensity for continual growth and improvement throughout his lifespan. His physical strength, speed, and durability progressively augment in correlation with the level of adversity he faces or the severity of injuries he recovers from. Moreover, his combat experience fosters an innate ability to assimilate knowledge and insights from past encounters, enabling him to gradually refine him tactics and enhance him efficiency in subsequent engagements.
    • Regenerative Healing Factor: Lucan's body can recover from injuries in a day, if not mere minutes. He can restore broken bones, torn muscles, and damaged organs; he can even regrow lost anatomy with no lingering signs. This varies based on the severity of the injury. Likewise, he is virtually immune to almost all forms of illness and contamination.
    • Superhuman Lung Capacity: Lucan possesses the remarkable physiological ability to sustain his breath for extended periods of time, spanning several weeks. This allows him to endure the harshness of space unprotected and make interstellar travel.
    • Superhuman Senses: Lucan possesses an exceptional auditory perception surpassing human capabilities, allowing him to discern sounds emanating from considerable distances and selectively drown out specific noises. His vision is equally advanced, able to discern distant objects with the same clarity as though they were in close proximity. Likewise, this grants him an equally powerful equilibrium and balance, able to maintain his stability and poise even in challenging situations.
    • Superhuman Speed: Lucan can move at tremendous speed, able to travel anywhere in the world in mere minutes if not seconds. He is much faster than light and capable of crossing intergalactic distances in mere weeks.
    • Superhuman Stamina: Lucan can sustain physical exertion for prolonged periods of time without showing any signs of exhaustion. He can also go for several weeks without sleep or sustenance unhindered.
    • Superhuman Strength: Lucan's strength extends to the ability to lift and press several tons, making him a powerhouse in combat situations. Against Invincible (before his intense training under the G.D.A.), Lucan had a commanding advantage over the hybrid. He easily brushed off Invincible's blows and likewise overpowered him with a single punch, even able to effortlessly pin Invincible to ground with just his index finger. This strength allows him to go toe-to-toe with formidable foes.

Abilities

  • Master Manipulator: To be added...

Weaknesses

  • Excessively High Frequency: High-frequency noise can have harmful effects on the ears of Viltrumites. It disturbs their balance, restricts their flying capability, induces severe pain, and could potentially lead to their death. The frequency's intensity dictates the degree of pain felt.
  • Extreme Force: Even though Viltrumites rank among the universe's mightiest, they are not entirely invincible. Viltrumites are vulnerable to entities with comparable or superior strength.
  • Scourge Virus: Developed from Viltrumite DNA, the virus targets Viltrumites by compromising their immune systems, deactivating their strength and invulnerability. The sole method of survival is by having a uniquely strong immune system and patiently waiting for the virus to run its course.
