History[]

Background[]

His backstory is largely unknown, except becoming the current emperor of all Martians.

Pre-Invincible Arrival On Mars[]

When a team of astronauts had arrived from Earth, along with Invincible who tasked secretly shadow their mission, the Emperor ordered the capture and the execution of the astronauts in order to avert the risk of them becoming controlled by Sequids.

Invincible Arrival On Mars[]

The Emperor of Mars explains to Invincible that if Sequids take over a host, they will destroy Mars and then Earth. He is surprised to find out that Invincible is immune to the Sequids and mentions that he had heard of Viltrumites. The Sequids were then unleashed and attacked the Martians under the command of a captured astronaut.

Sequid Attack[]

Somehow the Martian Emperor survived the onslaught of the sequids, and was brought to a martian battleship. After the Guardians freed Rus from sequid control, the Martian Emperor confronted them and thanked them for saving the martian from sequid control, however he demanded they turn in Shapesmith now labeled as the great betrayer, so that he could be executed.

The Guardians instead left with Shapesmith, presumably upsetting the Emperor. They did not retrieve Shapesmith, and presumably went back to Mars, now that sequids are no longer their problem.
