Several alternate versions of the Mauler Twins appear in Invincible Season 2. They are share many similarities with the original Mauler Twins but are from various alternate universes and have noticeable differences.

History

The Maulers have sealed their fate.

The Mauler Twins or at least countless alternate versions of themselves were summoned by Angstrom Levy to stop Invincible from interfering his plans. As they had him pinned and weakened, they took it to far and nearly killed Invincible, resulting in their own demise. Angstrom removed his helmet that severed the connection to the machine of gaining knowledge from his alternate selves thus the building imploded with all of them in it. Their corpses were seen afterwards, confirming their demises.

While all of the alternate Maulers were killed, it assumed that they were presumably cloned by their other counterparts in their own dimensions much like the Mauler Twin who survived after the warehouse was destroyed.

Appearances

Each Mauler Twin has a difference appearance than main Mauler Twins, one of them is female for example, three of them have cybernetic enhancements, one has a enlarged right arm and disfigured face, at least five of them almost resemble the original counterparts, but they have goatees, and one has a mohawk.

Trivia

• The existence of alternate Mauler Twins was hinted in three Season 2 trailers with Invincible shown fighting Mauler Twins with different physical features that differed from the original Mauler Twins.
• While not shown or explained on screen, the alternate Maulers may have came from universes in which Mark is evil like Nolan. This might explain why they sadistically try beating Mark to death; and the comics explicitly explains why they wanted to kill him.
• Most of them were voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson, but the voice actress of the Female Mauler is currently unknown.
• Two of the Maulers' designs resemble their original comic counterpart, except their nose ring was missing.
• The Mohawk Mauler Twin resembles B. A. Baracus from the A-Team series.
• The disfigured mutated Maulers resemble the Charger from Left 4 Dead 2.
