Appearance[]
Mister Liu is an elderly Chinese man with a distinctive and intimidating appearance. He is bald and has brown eyes. Notably, he has undergone extensive cybernetic enhancements, resulting in a cybernetic lower jaw, mouth, and tongue. These modifications were implemented to prolong his life and contain the powerful dragon spirit bound within him.
When projecting his soul, Mister Liu transforms into a massive, Eastern-style dragon. This dragon form is serpentine and capable of flight, fire-breathing, and immense strength.
Personality[]
Mister Liu presents himself as a ruthless underworld kingpin. An aggressive criminal who appears quick to anger and demands obedience from his subordinates or whomever he deems as such. As a dragon, Mister Liu appears even more vicious, giving into bestial rage in this form while still retaining his intelligence.
History[]
Background[]
Through his criminal prowess, and brutality, Mister Lie eventually earned a seat with The Order, a transnational criminal committee, becoming one of the most feared members and soon, their leader.
Attacking Rome[]
Liu first appears as a dragon that attacks Rome while Debbie Grayson and Omni-Man have a date trip there. Debbie Grayson asks Omni-Man to stop him but he refuses telling her that he is on vacation and to let Cecil earn his paycheck. Three military airplanes appear and fire missiles at Liu.
War with Titan[]
He along with his bodyguard are seen again at the end of Where I Really Come From having a meeting with Titan and Isotope, where Liu turns into a dragon and attacks the new crime boss of Chicago.
Powers and Abilities[]
Powers[]
Astral Projection: Can project his soul out of his body which takes the form of a large Eastern themed dragon. This leaves his body unconscious and vulnerable to attacks, so he relies on strong bodyguards to keep his body safe while his soul dragon rampages about.
- Fire Breath: Like a typical dragon, he can breathe fire.
- Flight: Self-explanatory, though he "snake's''" his way through the air due to his lack of wings. It can be assumed this power works similar to the flight capabilities of a typical Viltrumite.
- Superhuman Strength: Liu possessed enough strength to overpower and even damage Invincible.
- Nigh-Invulnerability: He seems to be quite strong, given how he is shown resisting missiles in Neil Armstrong, Eat Your Heart Out.
- Regenerative Healing Factor: Even if damaged in otherwise fatal ways, Liu is able to recover from conventional forms of harm in seconds.
Weakness[]
Liu dying, or being killed would release the dragon trapped within him.
Liu becoming unconscious will also release the dragon trapped within him (In the comics, Liu undergoes brain surgery, but becomes unconscious, causing the Dragon to escapes it's prison and wreak havoc).

Trivia[]
- He is based on Jade Dragon.
- His dragon form bears resemblance to Shenron[1] from the Dragon Ball Z franchise, a mythical wish dragon responsible for granting individuals who manage to collect the dragon balls, an eternal, powerful wish that be used to fulfill their most wanted desires.
- His human form bears resemblance to Iroh[2] from the Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise, a retired Warlord, and Military General of the Fire Nation.
- The concept of the sorcerers' trapping the dragon into Liu, is a reference to concepts in Chinese mythology, in which monsters, dragons, and beast could be imprisoned within scrolls, objects, or people.
- The concept of trapping the dragon into Liu could also be inspired by the Naruto franchise, in which Naruto Uzumaki[3] was used as the conduit in which the 9-tailed beast, Kurama[4] was imprisoned in. Going off of this, Liu's power is similar to Naruto, as both can utilize the powers of the beasts imprisoned within them.
