The Narrator is a minor offscreen character in Invincible, serving from Season 2 and onward. He narrates frequently to transition from the events happening on Earth and in space, and elaborate on the events occurring far from Earth.

Season 2[]
In "This Missive, This Machination!", as Mark begins to have some fun with Amber, however, the narrator appears and explains that Invincible should be given some time alone. Thus, the narrator takes the audience on a brief vignette, explaining the history of the Unopans, their conflict with the Viltrumites, and the origin story of Allen the Alien.
Season 3[]
In "You Were My Hero", he returns to recap the events leading to Allen's incarceration and how he spent several months bonding with his fellow prisoner, Nolan, Mark's father, who was imprisoned by his people for treason. The narrator would details leading up to the moment that Allen finally commences with the break out and rescue mission to save Nolan from his execution.
