Man, I always do this. I kill them too fast and then it's over. No torture, no screaming, no fun... This sucks.
—Nogogglesible upon defeating the Guardians in "What Have I Done?"

Nogogglesible is an evil variant of the main Invincible and a supporting antagonist in the third season of the series.

Nogogglesible was one of the variants of Invincible who would be assembled by Angstrom Levy to start the Invincible War in the mainstream dimension.

Appearance[]

Nogogglesible's appearance is nearly identical to his main counterpart, but with some changes to it. The most notable difference is that his mask lacks goggles and sort-of resembles a luchador mask. Other notable changes are the blue now extending down to the waist and all down his back, leaving black spots on the sides of his torso. His knee pads look more rounded as well.

Personality[]

This variant is shown to be particularly sadistic and cruel, even among his brethren. He is childish, and cocky, taunting his opponents and talking constantly during the battle. He relishes battle, and slaughter, he also somewhat masochistic, showing such excitement when his opponents cause harm to him. He likewise was highly amused by Shapesmith's odd dying words. His merciless nature is highlighted when he bemoans that he seems to have killed his opponents too quickly, and did not have time to savour their screams of pain. He is highly arrogant, which does leave him vulnerable.

History[]

Backstory[]

Little is known about this Invincible, except like his other counterparts he became evil, and a costume almost identical to the original Invincible costume, except his specs are missing and a vibrant blue wash now flowed down to his waist and back, contrasting with the stark black spots remaining on his sides, while his knee pads appeared noticeably more rounded.

In his home universe, he managed to kill the Guardians of the Globe, mentioning how the Nolan from his reality was there to assist him with this endeavor.

Nogogglesible was one of the alternate Invincibles who would be assembled by Angstrom Levy to attack the mainstream dimension.

Invincible War[]

Nogogglesible arrived in the mainstream universe through Angstrom's portal alongside the other variants, and immediately proceeded to destroy everything in sight.

Ka-Hor Lensless

Nogogglesible nearly gets controlled by Ka-Hor.

Nogogglesible battles the Immortal and was punched by the Immortal and Nogogglesible crashes into Ka-Hor's tomb, where he is attacked by the spirit trying to possess him. However, Nogogglesible manages to break free from its grasp and resumes his fight with the Immortal as he tackles the Immortal into the sky. This causes Ka-Hor to panic because, without a host, he can't survive outside his tomb. In a state of urgency, Ka-Hor crawls back inside just as Riley exits through the hole, carrying Jane.

Sometime later, Nogogglesible breaks into the GOTG's headquarters during his fight with the Immortal, incapacitating Black Samson and Shapesmith before fighting the Immortal, Dupli-Kate, and Darkwing II in a protracted battle.

Nogogglesible eventually defeats the remaining Guardians, beheading the Immortal, and killing the last of Dupli-Kate's clones. As he stands amid the carnage, he cruelly mutters that he wishes he could've have drawn the battle out more, to enjoy the screams of pain of his foes. This arrogant posturing allows Darkwing II opportunity to ambush him - tackling him head on and dragging Nogogglesible into the Shadow-Verse for all time.

As neither Darkwing II nor Nogogglesible appear again, this seems to have finally subdued him.

Legacy[]

Nogogglesible's role in the Invincible War had tremendous repercussions on the mainstream dimensions. Entire cities and countries were reduced to rubble while numerous lives were lost. His actions also led to the disappearance of Darkwing II.

Powers & Abilities[]

  • Hybrid Viltrumite Physiology: Nogogglesible possesses all the powers of his main timeline counterpart. He is a Human-Viltrumite hybrid, though his Viltrumite genes overshadow his Human genes, making him almost a pure-blooded Viltrumite.
    • Decelerated Aging: Nogogglesible possesses an exceptionally prolonged lifespan due to his biology, which causes him to age increasingly slower over time. This decelerated aging allows him to maintain peak health, physical conditioning, and combat performance far beyond the natural limits of most beings.
    • Dominant Genes: Viltrumites genetics are incredibly potent and adaptive. Nogogglesible, like others of his kind, can reproduce with a wide range of species, with his Viltrumite DNA overwhelmingly asserting itself in the offspring. As a result, the child will typically inherit predominantly Viltrumite traits, often appearing and functioning almost entirely as a Viltrumite. The more genetically compatible the mate’s species is, the faster and more reliably the offspring will manifest the full range of standard Viltrumite abilities
    • Flight: Due to a complex balancing system located in his inner ears, Nogogglesible possesses the ability to levitate and propel himself through the air at will, capable of reaching extreme speeds. He can effortlessly alter his trajectory mid-flight, allowing for sharp turns, sudden stops, and precise aerial maneuvering. His control enables seamless navigation through a wide range of environments.
    • Superhuman Strength: Nogogglesible possesses immense physical strength, easily capable of lifting and pressing several tons. During the Invincible War, he battled the Immortal, and after crashing into Ka-Hor’s tomb, he was attacked by the spirit attempting to possess him. However, Nogogglesible managed to escape its grasp and continued his fight with the Immortal. Later, he fought the new Guardians of the Globe, killing Duplicate Kate’s clones multiple times, dismembering Shapesmith, breaking Darkwing II’s leg, and incapacitating Black Samson. During his battle with the Immortal, the two traded powerful blows, with Nogogglesible clearly enjoying the fight and continuously overpowering the Immortal. Eventually, he killed the Immortal, proving his superior strength. However, Nogogglesible was tackled into the Shadow-Verse by Darkwing II, and his fate remains unknown. This variant ranks as one of the strongest, arguably second only to Movincihawk.
    • Nigh-Invulnerability: Nogogglesible possesses extraordinary durability, making his body incredibly resilient to a vast array of attacks. He can endure nearly any assault without sustaining significant damage, including explosions, bullets, and powerful energy-based assaults. During the Invincible War, he was unfazed by the attacks of the new Guardians of the Globe. Even when battling the Immortal, Nogogglesible showed immense resilience, with the Immortal’s punches barely phasing him. Despite his mouth bleeding from the force of the blows, Nogogglesible seemed to relish the battle, hardly harmed by the barrage of punches he received.
    • Superhuman Speed: Nogogglesible can move at immense velocities, capable of traversing the globe in mere minutes. His enhanced reaction time makes him a lethal force in high-speed combat scenarios. During the Invincible War, he managed to shake off Ka-Hor after crashing into the spirit’s tomb, then instantly resumed his fight with the Immortal, reaching him in a blur as a shockwave echoed behind him. In his battle against the new Guardians of the Globe, Nogogglesible demonstrated superior speed and reflexes, effortlessly evading the Immortal’s strikes and reacting fast enough to catch Darkwing II by the leg mid-ambush. He continued to outmaneuver the Immortal and swiftly eliminated two of Dupli-Kate’s clones. However, despite his speed, he was ultimately unable to prevent Darkwing II from pulling him into the Shadow-Verse. This variant is arguably one of the fastest amongst the alternate Invincibles, second only to Movincihawk.
    • Reactive Adaptation: Nogogglesible exhibits remarkable resilience and adaptability, displaying a propensity for continual growth and improvement throughout his lifespan. His physical strength, speed, and durability progressively augment in correlation with the level of adversity he faces or the severity of injuries he recovers from. Moreover, his combat experience fosters an innate ability to assimilate knowledge and insights from past encounters, enabling him to refine his tactics and enhance his efficiency in subsequent engagements.
    • Regenerative Healing Factor: Nogogglesible possesses an incredible healing factor, allowing his body to recover from injuries in mere minutes or, at most, within a few days. His regenerative abilities enable him to heal broken bones, torn muscles, damaged organs, and even regrow lost body parts without any lasting effects. This healing ability is highly dependent on the severity of the injury. Additionally, Nogogglesible is virtually immune to most illnesses and contaminants, making him highly resistant to various environmental and biological threats.
    • Superhuman Lung Capacity: Nogogglesible possesses extraordinary lung capacity, allowing him to survive without air for extended periods. This ability enables him to operate unhindered in oxygen-deprived environments, such as the vacuum of space without protection.
    • Superhuman Senses: Nogogglesible possesses extraordinary sensory abilities, far exceeding human limitations. His auditory perception allows him to hear sounds from great distances with incredible clarity, enabling him to detect even the faintest noises and selectively ignore irrelevant ones. His vision is equally advanced, providing him with the ability to see distant objects with the same sharpness and detail as though they were right in front of him. Additionally, his heightened equilibrium and balance grant him exceptional poise and stability, allowing him to maintain control and coordination in even the most difficult situations.
    • Superhuman Stamina: Nogogglesible can sustain physical exertion for prolonged periods of time without showing any signs of exhaustion. He can likewise endure some of the most grievous of injuries that would instantly kill a human, excluding too much harm to his heart or brain. He can go for several weeks without sleep or sustenance unhindered.

Weaknesses[]

  • Excessively High Frequency: High-frequency noise can have harmful effects on the ears of Viltrumites. It disturbs their balance, restricts their flying capability, induces severe pain, and could potentially lead to their death. The frequency's intensity dictates the degree of pain felt.
  • Extreme Force: Even though Viltrumites rank among the universe's mightiest, they are not entirely invincible. Viltrumites are vulnerable to entities with comparable or superior strength.
