Appearance[]

Physique[]

Taking mostly after his father, Oliver possesses a very human-like appearance. At the same time, Oliver's most noticeable trait is his purple skin, inherited from his Thraxan genes. As a toddler, he had a similar hairstyle to his elder brother. As a preteen, he is short and skinny in frame with two hair bangs framing the top sides of his face.

Clothing[]

Typical[]

As a toddler, Oliver wore a white and grey shirt with grey pants, much like Omni-Man's traditional Viltrumite uniform before his arrival on Earth. As a preteen, he wears a white shirt with red sleeves and a red collar, as well as dark grey pants.

Goggles and Scarf[]

Once Oliver learned his powers, he dressed in an orange and white shirt and pants, along with a scarf mask with goggles. He would wear this outfit to his first fight against Tether Tyrant and Magmaniac.

Kid Omni-Man Attire[]

His superhero costume consists of a black eye mask, upper red, lower black shorts, yellow gloves and boots. His costume also has a yellow O logo as well as a red I that makes the costume somewhat resemble his father's attire.

Personality[]

As a young child, Oliver represents the true nature of an innocent youngster: curious, lively, and loving. As a preteen, he stays lively, but he has turned into a stubborn and impulsive boy who does not fully appreciate the consequences of his actions. While very friendly and outgoing by nature, in his quest to be a superhero, he has come to adopt a more logical perspective rather than an ethical one, as he does not acknowledge the horror of killing criminals, viewing it as a way to better the world. This mindset comes from how humankind has a tendency to so regularly commit violence and destruction to each other. To which, he also came to regard non-superpowered individuals as inferior to beings like himself and his brother.

Although Oliver has a grim outlook on life, he does care for those near him and takes pleasure in forming friendships when possible. He particularly has a strong affection for his family, especially his brother. He even looks up to his father so much that he creates his superhero outfit and name based on his father's. Furthermore, he is open to valuing others' perspectives and will steer clear of deadly force if possible, as it disturbs his mother and sibling.

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Viltrumite-Thraxan Hybrid Physiology: Although Oliver is a hybrid, his Viltrumite genetics are largely dominant, causing him to develop into what is effectively a near-pure Viltrumite as he matures. However, the incompatibility between his Viltrumite and Thraxan DNA resulted in distinct traits, most notably his purple skin. His Thraxan heritage initially triggered accelerated aging, but it also caused his Viltrumite powers to manifest at an extraordinarily young age, chronologically one year old but physically resembling a 9 to 10 year old. In contrast, Invincible, a human-Viltrumite hybrid, didn’t develop his powers until age 17. Oliver possesses the best of both worlds: the Viltrumites’ formidable strength and superhuman abilities, combined with the Thraxans’ advanced cognitive development and exceptional memory. His powers and potential are expected to continue growing stronger as he ages. He is currently one of the most powerful beings on Earth.
    • Decelerated Aging: Initially, Oliver aged at an accelerated rate due to his Thraxan heritage, reaching the physical development of a three-year-old within just two months, and appearing as a pre-teen only three months after that. However, as he matured, his Viltrumite genes began to assert dominance, gradually stabilizing his rapid aging process. Since Viltrumites age progressively slower over time, Oliver’s development noticeably slowed around puberty. This deceleration is a hallmark of Viltrumite biology, which allows him to maintain peak health, physical conditioning, and combat performance far beyond the natural limits of most beings. As a result, Oliver is expected to share a lifespan comparable to that of a full-blooded Viltrumite.
    • Enhanced Mental Capacities: Oliver inherited several traits from his Thraxan mother, most notably an extraordinary capacity for learning. He is able to absorb and fully comprehend information at an exceptional rate, a trait that contributed to his early physical and cognitive development, he began walking and speaking remarkably soon after birth. His aptitude for learning is virtually limitless, supported by flawless recall and what is effectively a photographic memory. Oliver can remember every detail of his experiences with perfect clarity, granting him near-total retention of all knowledge and skills he acquires.
    • Flight: Oliver, due to a complex balancing system located in his inner ears, possesses the ability to levitate and propel himself through the air at will, capable of reaching extreme speeds. He can effortlessly alter his trajectory mid-flight, allowing for sharp turns, sudden stops, and precise aerial maneuvering. His control enables seamless navigation through a wide range of environments.
    • Superhuman Strength: Oliver possesses incredible physical strength, easily capable of lifting and pressing several tons. His first notable demonstration of this power occurred during a battle with the Mauler Twins: he effortlessly punched through one, shattered the jaw of the other, and finished the fight with a devastating uppercut that destroyed most of the second twin’s head. However, when Invincible grabbed him shortly afterward, Oliver was unable to break free, highlighting the strength gap between them at the time. Later, during training with Invincible, Oliver fought and easily defeated the Elephant, showcasing noticeable progress in his physical power. During the Invincible War, he displayed further strength by struggling but successfully lifting a massive slab of broken road to rescue a civilian. He later confronted Capvincible and was quickly overpowered. Despite this, he managed to land a surprise punch that appeared to realign Capvincible’s spine, momentarily stunning him before Throwbolt and Bug-Eye arrived. The three heroes then worked together to defeat the variant. By the third day of the war, Oliver, alongside Throwbolt and Bug-Eye, successfully killed another Invincible variant, Hairvincible. However, when Conquest arrived and engaged Invincihle, Oliver attempted to intervene but was immediately incapacitated by a single powerful slap. A second blow from Conquest sent him flying through a building, knocking out several teeth and causing heavy blood loss. Unable to recover, Oliver was forced to watch as Conquest continued his brutal assault, nearly stretching Oliver’s body to the brink of death.
    • Nigh-Invulnerability: Oliver possesses extraordinary durability, rendering his body highly resistant to a wide range of physical and energy-based attacks. He can withstand explosions, bullets, and powerful energy blasts with minimal to no injury. Even as a baby, his resilience was evident, Angstrom Levy threw him around and dropped him multiple times, yet he remained completely unharmed. This feat was later confirmed by Cecil, further underscoring the innate toughness granted by his hybrid physiology. During his first fight, he was electrocuted by Kursk and momentarily incapacitated, but ultimately suffered no lasting harm. In battle against the Mauler Twins, Oliver remained largely unscathed, even after flying straight through one of them. However, he did emerge with a single bruise on his right cheek after being punched and slammed into the ground by the surviving twin, moments before killing him. During the Invincible War, he sustained some damage from Capvincible and possibly later from Hairvincible, but he recovered quickly, continuing to fight effectively. However, against a foe as powerful as Conquest, Oliver’s durability was tested to its limits. Conquest’s brutal blows broke several of his teeth, caused severe oral bleeding, and nearly tore his body apart, leaving him on the verge of death.
    • Superhuman Speed: Oliver can move at immense velocities, capable of traversing the globe in mere minutes. His enhanced reaction time makes him a lethal force in high-speed combat scenarios. Initially, Oliver was unable to match Invincible’s speed, but over a short period of time, Oliver surpassed him, even with Invincible’s GDA training, he struggled to keep up. In one notable instance, Oliver moved so fast he was able to pants three bullies and return to his original spot before they could react, displaying speed reminiscent of a true speedster. During the Invincible War, he demonstrated his agility by quickly maneuvering behind Capvincible and launching a surprise attack. However, when Conquest entered the battlefield, Oliver was unable to match the older Viltrumite’s overwhelming speed during his clash with Invincible. Despite this, Oliver remains arguably the fastest being on Earth, having surpassed even Invincible prior to Conquest’s arrival. His superior speed, despite being significantly younger, stems from his Thraxan heritage, which enhances his learning and reflexes, combined with his powerful Viltrumite physiology.
    • Reactive Adaptation: Thanks to his Thraxan learning and Viltrumite developmental abilities, Oliver can naturally enhance himself in brief intervals. The harder he fights, the more his stamina, agility, and resilience will gradually increase in relation to the challenges he encounters or the seriousness of the wounds he heals from. Soon after starting his training with Mark to become a superhero, Oliver's speed increased dramatically while his older brother had difficulty keeping up. Furthermore, his fighting experience cultivates a natural talent for absorbing knowledge and lessons from previous battles, allowing him to improve his strategies and boost his effectiveness in future confrontations.
    • Regenerative Healing Factor: Oliver possesses an incredible healing factor, allowing his body to recover from injuries in mere minutes or, at most, within a few days. His regenerative abilities enable him to heal broken bones, torn muscles, damaged organs, and even regrow lost body parts without any lasting effects. This healing ability is highly dependent on the severity of the injury. Additionally, Omnivincible is virtually immune to most illnesses and contaminants, making him highly resistant to various environmental and biological threats. After getting considerably injured by Conquest, Oliver was sent away with the GDA to recover.
    • Self-Sustenance (Enhanced by Thraxan Heritage): Thanks to his Viltrumite and Thraxan genetics, Oliver’s physical needs are dramatically reduced. Viltrumites are known to have an extraordinary ability to go without food for extended periods, though the specifics of how long they can endure are not well documented. Oliver’s Thraxan lineage further amplifies this ability, allowing him to go for extended periods without food while maintaining his health and vitality. Even as a baby, Oliver went weeks without regular human food, showing no signs of weakness or decline. His body efficiently utilizes available energy, rendering him largely self-sufficient when it comes to nutritional needs.
    • Superhuman Lung Capacity: Oliver possesses extraordinary lung capacity, allowing him to survive without air for extended periods. This ability enables him to operate unhindered in oxygen-deprived environments, such as the vacuum of space without protection.
    • Superhuman Stamina: Oliver can endure physical activity for extended durations without displaying any indications of fatigue. He can also withstand some of the most severe injuries that would immediately be fatal to a human, except for extreme damage to his heart or brain. Though he was electrocuted badly, he swiftly bounced back from the shock. He can go several weeks without sleep without hindrance.

Weaknesses[]

  • Excessively High Frequency: High-frequency noise can have harmful effects on the ears of Viltrumites. It disturbs their balance, restricts their flying capability, induces severe pain, and could potentially lead to their death. The frequency's intensity dictates the degree of pain felt.
  • Extreme Force: Even though Viltrumites rank among the universe's mightiest, they are not entirely invincible. Viltrumites are vulnerable to entities with comparable or superior strength.

Trivia[]

  • Oliver is inspired by Goten from Dragon Ball franchise. As well as Superboy from DC franchise
  • His Kid-Omni-Man persona, he somewhat is inspired from Damian Wayne the biological son of Batman.
    • Damian Wayne like Oliver, would rather want the bad guys be put down for good, and did not think they deserve to live or be imprisoned as villians would just break out of jail and kill innocents again.
  • Oliver Grayson's first and last names are references to other DC comic Super Heroes: Oliver Queen (Green Arrow) and Dick Grayson (Nightwing).
  • Oliver is the second major character in the series to be a Viltrumite hybrid.
  • In the comics, Mark accepted Oliver as his brother after meeting him, but in the show he finds it very uncomfortable and lacks any care for him until talking to Andressa about Nolan.
  • In the comics, Oliver was someone who is isolated from humans, considering them as selfish and self-centered, in the series he tries to have human connections, even having friends, and also shows more compassion and understanding of human morality, but still prefers to kill his enemies.
  • According to Angstrom Levy in "I Thought You Were Stronger" Oliver appears to be nonexistent in many alternate dimensions. Since Omni-Man would have had to have left Earth, travelled to the planet Thraxa and mate with Andressa then it stands to reason that Oliver would have never been born. In most dimensions of the Evil Invincibles, Omni-Man never left Earth or had been killed off in one way or another.
