History[]
Seance Dog is character in a comic book series read and favored by Mark Grayson & Kyle
At one point, Mark was reading a comic book about the character in his bathroom until his mother barged in looking for soap which angered Mark.
Shortly after Mark arrived at college, he opted to throw his collectible action figures of Seance Dog and other such characters in the dumpster but had a change of heart about the former.
Later that night, an alien known as Nuolzot came disguised as Seance Dog. Mark was initially dumbfounded and attacked the alien demanding he tell him the truth. Nuolzot eventually relented and shed his disguise.

Mark later attended a comic book convention with Amber where he met the creator of Seance Dog, Filip Schaff, who explained the tricks and secrets to making the cartoon.
During William' birthday party, one year after the Destruction of Chicago, Mark meets Amber's new boyfriend, Kyle, who was also a fan of the comic book and wearing a Seance Dog T-shirt. The two bonded over their shared interest in the story.

Trivia[]
- Seance Dog was originally called Science Dog, but however despite Robert Kirkman being responsible for the creation of Science Dog, does not have rights to the original character.
- Carl Grimes, one of the main characters in The Walking Dead, also written by Kirkman and staring Steven Yeun, wore a Science Dog T-shirt during his earliest appearances in comic book and in the first three seasons of the TV adaptation. Presumably, Kirkman had the rights to the character at the time of the series run.
- Seance Dog is based on Doctor Strange from Marvel Comics.
