Trivia[]

  • The second season was released 2023, which is widely known as the 20th anniversary of the Invincible comic run.
  • In this season Mark tries to not be like Nolan, and a Viltrumite, but fails to do so as he allowed his inner fury and hatred to consume him while he was battling the deranged former pacifist Angstrom Levy, seemingly destroying his deformed robotically-enhanced body for good.
  • The future relationship of Atom Eve and Invincible is built up all throughout the season.
  • This season explores life decisions with most characters.
  • This season explores different realities, the term Multiverse.
  • Angstrom Levy is the main villain of season 2, while the Viltrumites, Sequids, Lizard League serve as secondary villains.
  • Unlike the previous season, Season 2 is divided into two parts, one for 2023, and the rest for 2024.
  • This decision was widely panned as a "momentum shift change" in a negative way. Losing the desire of interest towards critics and fans alike, and when the second part of season 2 was released on march, many were left with frustration of why such a decision was even made.[3] However many are not aware or take notice, this was due to the writers strike fallout in early 2023, that was somewhat caused by rumors of ai replacing artists.[4]
  • More of the Viltrumites, Allen the Alien, Lizard League and Sequids are shown and explored.
  • An interesting hint to Mark's growth is also symbolized on the poster for part 1 & 2.
    • In the first poster, there's a blood puddle reflection of Nolan and if you look closely on his face of the shadow reflection in the part 2 poster, it shows a silhouette of a supposed mustache, foreshadowing Nolan, because of his mustache, and Mark trying not to be like him.
