Background[]
Telia is a general in the Coalition of Planets' military forces; Allen the Alien is one of her officers. She also lives with Allen and their pet Vorg and is in an intimate relationship with him.
A New Hope[]
Allen's Return[]
When Allen returns from his trip to Earth, General Telia welcomes him back and informs him of recent events: the Viltrumites attacking Aikreon. Later, after the Coalition meeting and learning of Invincible and his father Omni-Man's desertion, Telia ponders why the Viltrumites are interbreeding with other races, despite their belief in racial purity. As Allen makes his way back home, he is once again greeted by Telia, who states that she has missed him. They then proceed to exchange flirtatious remarks before making love in his house.
Viltrumite Attack[]
Allen and Telia later go on a dinner date where Allen talks about the beauty of his planet while also trying to land a flirtatious remark on Telia. When Allen is about to inform Telia about the mole in the Coalition, he is suddenly attacked by Thula, Lucan, and Vidor, who send him out into deep space to interrogate him. When Allen is asked about the whereabouts of Nolan Grayson, he responds by insulting them, refusing to give away any information. After another punch from Vidor, he realizes his chances against them are slim to none, so when Thula asks him about Nolan, he once again responds with a joke. The Viltrumites then proceed to beat him up for his refusal to reveal information until they violently mutilate him, leaving one of his arms amputated, his eye socket ripped out, and his guts spilled open in the vast cosmos of space. The Viltrumites leave Allen's body in space as Telia watches in horror at what they have just done to her partner.
The Coalition of Planets was thankfully able to retrieve Allen's body from space and place him in a stable condition, albeit still unconscious. Telia watches over Allen's body, deeply worried about his condition, before being interrupted by Thaedus, who states that the Viltrumites have underestimated the Unopans' will to survive. He then gives Telia some additional words of motivation before seeing her out.
