History

Background

Early Life

Thousands of years ago, during the Thragg era, Vidor was born on the planet Viltrum. From a very young age, Vidor was indoctrinated in the Viltrumites' social darwinistic and supremacist beliefs. Eventually, he joined his race in their universal expansion goals, and after performing well in countless missions, Vidor became recognized and was officially made one of General Kregg's most trusted subordinates. Like many of his kind, Vidor bore great yet resentful reverence for "The Great Nolan," as he became one of the greatest, most successful Viltrumites to ever live. Furthermore, he came to fear Conquest, the rabid, bloodthirsty veteran warrior who became the second most powerful Viltrumite in history.

The Scourge Virus

During the Scourge Virus, Vidor was one of its rare survivors. While he endured because of his exceptionally robust immune system, Vidor and the other remaining survivors became weaker for a brief time.

Hunt for Nolan

Interrogating Allen

Vidor Beats Allen

Vidor beats Allen to near death.

In 2023, upon learning from their mole inside the Coalition of Planets that Nolan had abandoned his post on Earth and sired a hybrid heir, Vidor , along with Thula and Lucan, traveled to Talescria, where they tracked down the Unopan Coalition soldier Allen to a restaurant spaceship orbiting the planet. The three attempted to extract more information about Nolan from him, but instead, Allen vexingly refused, resulting in his nigh-fatal beatdown and hospitalization. The three Viltrumites left to continue their search for the deserter.

Battle of Thraxa

Vidor vs. Nowl-Ahn

Vidor momentarily dominates Nolan.

He, along with Lucan and Thula, finally learned of Nolan's whereabouts and traveled to Thraxa, decimating the planet. Nolan went back to check on his family and seemingly killed Lucan, resulting in a massacre in the city led by him and Thula. They find Nolan and Mark, and Vidor remarks on the status of Lucan, whom Nolan acknowledges as both weak and dead. Vidor continues by declaring the Thraxans to be weak and deserving of death as well, leading Nolan to say that he will kill Vidor for what he did to them; in response, Vidor welcomes it.

Vidor's Skull Crack

Vidor's skull is cracked by Nolan.

Nolan and Vidor engage in a bloody fight. Noticing how distracted Nolan is, due to his concern for his son, Vidor taunts him by reminding him of the Viltrumite belief that if an offspring is killed, then he didn't deserve to live. Despite his best efforts, Vidor proved to be no match for Nolan, as in the end, Nolan impacts Vidor's skull with a double punch to the skull and tramples on his head, nearly rendering him dead. Before he could finish him off, Nolan heard his son's plea for help against Thula and left him to die in his spot. When General Kregg came to inspect the aftermath, Vidor was not seen being taken back to the ship, leaving his status unknown.

Legacy

Six months after the Battle of Thraxa, during Nolan's execution, a guard reveals that Vidor died from his injuries.
